Max Strength Construction Adhesive Tube

This Gorilla Max Strength Construction Adhesive worked incredibly well for my project. The clear formula is a huge plus — it dries clean and doesn’t leave behind any messy residue. So this gorilla Max strength construction adhesiveis a pretty decent strong hold glue. I have used it on quite a lot of stuff. I am a glue hoarder lol.. I have every kind of glue there is because there isn’t just one glue for everything unfortunately , so you have to get a certain type of glue for specific items that you’re going to glue ! So if you’re looking for a glue review, definitely read mine ! I purchased this to glue to glue metal to wood and for the life of me I cannot remember exactly what item I purchased this glue for specifically because I’ve used it like four times, but I know it was to glue metal to wood . But again, it works on various materials just depending on what you’re using it for. needless to say, it works really good. The only thing you have to know is that it takes a while to really bond. In other words whatever you glue is not gonna stay in place unless you clamp it or stabilize it somehow it will keep on sliding but once it bonds it bonds really good almost like to a rubbery feel and it takes a good 24 hours to really bond completely so if you’re looking for something that’s a fast bond. This is not it but if you’re looking for something that is a strong bond then this works well. Another thing I wanted to mention is that its very sticky. If you’re like me no matter what you glue you get the glue on your fingers and hands, so It’s super sticky and a really hard to get off. I still have this glue on my hands from a week ago . You might want to wear gloves which I should and never do because then I get the glue on the glove and the glue sticks to the glove and then sticks to my project.. so hopefully this was a helpful review. it’s a five star rating for me and I do recommend

This glue is really useful! I’ve used it for a variety of things, most notably: The car wash eliminated my constant chore of having to replace my work van antenna after every car wash by simply forgetting to remove it before one of those car washes, though unfortunately, it left a gaping ≈1” hole in whatever part of the van body it’s called where the antenna is mounted. So, I stole this piece from a water pump and glued it over the hole and now people always ask what’s up with my crazy satellite hookup or wth it is and I always tell these imaginary people that it’s classified. The important thing to know is that I did not prep either surface, both quite smooth. One, the factory paint job on my van and the other, polished stainless steel. Just a wipe with a cloth and a ring of glue around the open hole. I placed the steel piece on the glue, then went inside a store and worked for 3 hours. I came out, half-worried that it had slide off-kilter or worse, maybe someone got curious and snagged it, but it was still there, so I drove for 90 minutes to my home, parked for the weekend, and it’s been on there ever since. It’s been through 4 or 5 of the same car washes that removed my factory “mounted” antenna and spurred this entire experience. Since then, I’ve mounted a smooth, unprepped metal lock box on a cinder block wall, using the glue to also fill in the pre-drilled mounting holes on the back of the lock box, effectively waterproofing it. It’s been working great for almost a year in Oregon’s rainy Willamette Valley. Another useful discovery is that it works super well to glue things like a Bluetooth radio adapter, little clay trinkets my daughter makes me, and a power adapter plug that always becomes disengaged, to my dashboard. The glue holds for as long as I leave it alone, but if I simply put a little effort into it, I can remove whatever is glued to my dash AND the glue comes with it. No residue on my dash. Super stoked about this! Finally, and perhaps the most enticing detail of all, the glue does not harden in the tube. It also does not super-seal its own lid on with the contents of its own tube, a lameness historically just accepted as an inevitable consequence of containing an adhesive between two objects that are in contact with that adhesive. The cap always comes off with just a little effort with my thumb and forefinger and the glue is always in good condition and ready to flow, not even a little plug in the end of the tube opening. Bottom line: For general, but higher-strength, everyday bonding needs, this glue is a superior alternative to almost every other glue or adhesive I’ve used.

I bought this for my car as was recommended by a stranger. I went to the car wash and the rubber on the top of my car was lifting. He saw it and recommended I try the gorilla glue. And I am extremely glad I did. I applied it myself, clipped the rubber back in, wiped off the few smudges and never had an issue with the rubbers lifting since then.

Only annoyance was that the project could have gone faster if a nozzle was included like the package said. Ended up using a lot more than necessary but hard to control amount without a nozzle. Impressed with the product itself, easy enough to work with otherwise.
