Review: Premium product - This is a really premium product. You can feel the robustness and quality in your hand when you hold this pry bar.
Review: Do not believe the naysayers who tell you this is a fake - IT ISN'T. OK, so the finish isn't as good as you'd expect on an Estwing hammer, and it has a stick-on label (so possibly a bought-in product?) but then this is a demolition bar which is going to get some serious abuse. Tarting it up by polishing the ends would just be a waste of time, effort and money. If you want a posh prybar then I'd suggest you go and buy a Stiletto Titanium - but it won't be any better IMHO In use this has to be absolutely the BEST pry bar I've used in 40-odd years as a carpenter and joiner. It is light in weight, extremely strong and the L-end is an ideal shape for dismantling frames, lifting floorboards, etc. The spade end is great for splitting apart glued structures, especially if you drive it with a club hammer, as well as removing the bulk of the waste quickly when you are notching out for support battens under sistered joists. I only came across this bar this year and I now wonder how I did without it for so many years. I've had Stanley, Vaughan and a variety of other bars over the years and the light weight and sheer useability of this one trumps the lot. I's not just me, either. The two other carpenters in my team were so impressed that they also went out and bought one for themselves - which was a good job as it seemed, at times, to be semi-permanently on loan to one or other of them. After 6 months of constant demolition and heavy 1st fix carpentry my original bar was starting to look seriously beaten-up because it was constantly being driven by a hammer - but I've yet to kill it - so in terms of durability also 5 stars EDIT: Several years and I have just replaced my bar having list the original down the back of some oak panelling, sadly never (?) to be retrieved. Well worth the money for a new on, though

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where is this made?**
A: It is definitely (made in the good old USA), altho I do favor the third answer. Little suggestion to Estwing art department, fill in the Estwing artwork with the American flag. You are made in Merica, be proud of it, the USA flag is on the entire packaging but it never says made in America. Sorry for being so cynical, just been tricked by too many Chinese shiny trinkets that chip & bent.\You want to know how I know, Asin steel could never take such a beating with a 5 pound sledge and not blunt the tip. Then again it does say Made in USA on tool, not retail packaging.

**Q: I need something to pry apart a wooden fence that has stripped screws holding it together. Will this get between the boards?**
A: This will get between the boards well. Depending on the screws if you need more leverage after getting between the boards try a QLT By MARSHALLTOWN 14956 Little Monster Pry Bar gives a ton of leverage. I recently used one to pry deck boards off the framing. A combination of nails and deck screws couldn't deter me!

**Q: How is it with pulling nails with the 90 degree claw? The design looks to boxy not round enough to roll out nails smoothly.**
A: This was my grandpa's favorite prybar and he had many, some were welded back together and so old i think they belonged to his dad. They were in my dads boxes, uncle Ivan tool bag, everywhere. They suck at pulling nails and g-pa thought they did a fine job. By the time I was 20 I was buying giant cats paws from japan with the 90 degree claw and g-pa's trusty old prybars were retired to his tool box. The design beats up the fingers of a rookie. If a nail breaks, SLAM goes the bar flat on the concrete. It is most unforgiving. G-pa's terrible welds tore skin too. I think its an unweldable alloy.

Till skillnad från nord Europeiska kofötter har denna en helt annat utväxling på hävstångs effekten. Prova kostar inte en förmögenhet. Resten syns på foto vad den kan används till.
