Daiwa Crossfire LT Spinning Combo

Good spinning, good reel! I liked everything.

Used this fishing with a friend. Came right home and ordered an exact one. Love this reel and rod.

Pros: -Good action rod (not too stiff, not too flimsy). Length is good for most bank fishing assuming you have the right setup. -Smooth Reel system. Handles on par with a 3000 series reel out on the market -Pretty user friendly for setup, attaching rod to reel, and casting. I opted for braid over mono/fluorocarbon for main line for better casting. Cons: -Not a beginner friendly rod. If you’re going to be bank fishing as a start, it’s going to get tangled up if you don’t get your line wrapped tightly, or use monofilament line. Learned that lesson the hard way through too many birds nests forming -Rod tip broke within 6 weeks of purchase. Is that the result of user error in getting snagged on underwater structure? Yes. However, a handful of snags is pretty par for the course for a beginner rod, so when it comes to value over cost, I personally wish I had gone for something more substantial. - Check out the warranty of this product compared to others, as you have to mail the rod with their form out to their company for it to be reviewed and determined whether the damage is manufacture defect or user error. If user error, they will send an unspecified discount for a new rod. With shipping and timing, it might be more favorable to just get a nicer, new rod. Overall, reel is great and will continue to use. Rod is made of graphite and will wear down quickly. Just wish they offered rod tip replacements.

still cannot get a fish

First order reel came with a dent in the reel. 2nd order the handle hit the reel and the smallest hole where the line passes through didnt line up with the rest. Returned twice now.

The rod feels kinda finiky not the best quality but it still holds well but i mainly wanted it just for the reel and for 40 bucks. I wont complain

My favorite spinning combo I have. Nothing fancy but very reliable and can reel in a great variety of stuff.

Lightweight. Nice balance. Quality rod and reel for price . Handy to keep in car for ad hoc fishing moments. Good for spinning with small lure or drop shot fishibg in edge. Would have like a bag with it.

Do not buy literally broken when I opened it like what it like. What is this for 80 bucks? This is ridiculous.
