CISSP has a very wide scope with multiple domains. Each domain has multiple references recommended by ISC2. For a busy professional like me it was impossible to have time to read through and digest such vast material on my own. This book does a very fine job of distilling the information for you. It also gives practical examples, scenarios on how to apply the frameworks, which is a must to crack CISSP. It is also going to be a go resource in the life of IS Security Professional. Definitely a must have on your bookshelf!

Every cybersecurity professional and enthusiast should add this book to their library. This reference book is easy to read, easy to follow. It describes the CISSP concepts at an altitude that allows for quick reference and mid-level detail. This reference is excellent for refreshing on concepts and terms and has current, useful examples. While not intended as a study guide for the exam, I found it valuable to review the concepts of particular areas of the test in this book, before diving into exam prep via other materials.

Excellent reference material, i might have missed but i was expecting a colorful book looking at the cost :) The hardbound book with a black and grey pages was a light disappointment....

Very clear, and to the point, no more no less.

Lots of text sometimes useless, tedious, with little structure and poor examples. You read it because you have to do it to obtain the certification, but you don't enjoy it...

Great content. Unfortunately let down by the cheap print quality - the greyscale diagrams are poor - some of the text (white on grey) is unreadable. Would have expected better quality for the price.
