Way too many makeup lines cater to white consumers, featuring shades from pink-white ivories to pink-tan "mocha" colors that really look like Ashley got a summer tan. As a pink-white shade wearer, maybe this shouldn't matter to me, but I love giving my money to a company who recognizes and appreciates the existence of a variety of customers.This is my holy grail of concealer. I have really dark undereye circles. I've tried so many concealers and every time I look at the streaky, terrible coverage and ask myself how on earth anyone finds any use from those things.Then I tried a Becca concealer palette. OH. MY. GOD.This stuff is thick, slightly waxy, almost like an oil pastel. You rub your finger gently on the surface to apply. I do NOT use a brush--the concealer blends and applies best when slightly warm from your finger, and brushes pick up too much product. After picking some up, gently pat the concealer over the areas needing concealer. Then pat pat pat pat pat pat pat. Blend in little pats. Rub initially if you need to cover a large area, then pat pat pat. The second I started applying it, I gasped. It was actually COVERING my dark circles. Then I patted and blended and patted and blended and oh my god, my dark circles were GONE.If you wear the product by itself, it DOES crease throughout the day on wrinkly areas like around the eyes. However, if you set with a matching shade of power (or translucent powder), this stuff stays ALL DAY.I've used it to cover blotchiness, weird spots, bruises, everything. I suspect it would even work on tattoos with powder and a settling spray.It's worth every penny. On days I have active breakouts, I can reach for the higher coverage side.Both sides were a great match for my skin. I was very skeptical at first due to the price of these, but I plan to order again and again at this point. The concealer lasted longer than others on my skin and I love that I can throw this in my purse for any touch up I may need during the day.
