Yes it's plastic. It's a fan with a mount not a heatsink. Comes with zip ties for mounting and your wiring. For the money it's actually pretty decent. The fans really move the air over the 780kv spektrum in my Super Rock Rey. I did have to trim one corner to fit it in my car.

Slow fan, and heatsink is PLASTIC!! plastic doesn't dissipate heat..... Also rattles a lot no good way to hold on motor, they send zip ties. Going with another brand
