As a massage therapist this product may just save my career. I just got out of my first session with these as replacement for my overworked, arthritic thumbs and the slightest pressure had me giving firm pressure. I've been giving up to medium pressure for a while now and my client base has suffered for it. I've been a professional for 10 years. I only used these on the back and will continue to use only on the back. It is difficult to know if I'm on vertebrae or not but I imagine there is a learning curve with these as with anything. 4 stars because they are slightly small and there is only 1 size available. They need to make man sized tools. I'll adjust for the discrepancy though. Overall, great tools. There is no seem that can cause irritation to clients as I saw in reviews for similar products.
