Samsung 860 EVO 500GB 2.5 inch SATA Internal SSD - MZ-76E500B

I bought this 3 years back and to this day the SSD has been working phenomenaly, the speeds are great and there's no hiccups or slow down. The supporting Samsung Magician Software does a great job and provides great insights. I go through diagnostics very often and so far the SSD is still in top notch condition. I would definitely recommend SSDs from Samsung.

Arrived in excellent packaging, I did a lot of researh before purchasing this SSD. This is one of the fatest SSD in the market I consistently get around 500 MB/Sec read write speeds and in the Samsung turbo mode it can give upto 2000 MB/Sec speed. Great buy worth the money.

I love it so far. I swapped out my Toshiba SATA HDD for Samsung 860 Evo and the performance is incredible. Windows 10 Pro loaded in less than 10 seconds. And i can feel the difference in app loads and computer running. The Amazon delivery service is as good as ever.

It is a fantastic SSD. It works the first time and flawlessly. I used it to replace my boot drive. The Samsung migration software was fantastic. No hassle, and got the job done. It considerably improved the performance of my five-year-old PC.

Bought the SS EVO 860 to speed up my Lenovo 310 laptop & it worked like a breeze ... the procedure was quite simple assisted also by the SS migration SW ... giving it a 4 star as I had to buy the SATA Hard disk Cover Adaptor which I had to order separately ... it should be recommended as a bundle

Fantastic Product from Samsung. Super speed. My 5 years old laptop response is almost equal to my i7 7gen laptop. Samsung own data migration tool is superb as well and save my time.

Installed this HDD into my 2012 MacBook Pro as it was running slow. After the install my 8yr old MacBook runs like new! And faster.... Followed a YouTube video on how to install, took 30mins.

Still working like a charm

Nach einiger Überlegung und langen gestöbere im Internet habe ich mich dazu entschieden meinen nun doch schon 2 Jahre alten ASUS Laptop mit einer neuen Festplatte auszustatten. Einer der Gründe dafür war unter anderem, dass mich die oft doch sehr langen Zugriffszeiten mit der HDD langsam aber sicher in den Wahnsinn getrieben haben, die Lösung: SSD muss her. Doch welche SSD kauft man nun? Nachdem ich mehrere Stunden damit verbracht hatte, zu recherchieren welche SSD nun die beste war, entschied ich mich letztendlich für die 860 EVO von Samsung. Und diese Entscheidung bereue ich keineswegs. Vorweg muss noch gesagt werden, dass diese SSD nun seit 12.April bei mir im Einsatz ist! Die Festplatte kam (Amazontypisch) innerhalb von zwei Tagen bei mir zu Hause an. Die Festplatte vom Postler entgegen genommen und sofort das Amazonpäckchen aufgerissen. Da fiel mir auf, dass die Verpackung der SSD beschädigt bzw. eingedrückt war. Gleich dachte ich mir, na hoffentlich funktioniert die jetzt. Mit der Hoffnung, dass die SSD noch funktioniert und nicht beschädigt ist habe ich also den Laptop aufgeschraubt, die alte Festplatte ausgebaut und die neue SSD eingebaut, dann Windows installiert und naja was soll ich sagen? Alles funktioniert genauso wie erwartet, sogar noch besser! Leider habe ich die Tests der Zugriffszeiten für die HDD nicht fotografiert, aber ich kann sagen, dass diese Tests grauenhaft ausfielen. Die Zugriffszeiten für die SSD kann man im angefügten Foto sehen! Auch im Alltag merkt man den Unterschied zwischen SSD und HDD deutlich, denn wo ich vorher noch eine gefühlte Ewigkeit gewartet habe, bis der Laptop endlich hochgefahren ist, muss ich nun bei jedem Start staunen wie enorm der Startvorgang durch die SSD beschleunigt wird. Auch die Programme, bei denen ich auch, manchmal mehrere Minuten, sehr lange gewartet habe, starten nun innerhalb von Sekunden! Fazit: Ich würde jedem, der mit der Startzeit seines PCs bzw. mit der Ladezeit von Programmen (womöglich auch Spiele - obwohl ich das nur in einem minimalen Rahmen getestet habe) unzufrieden ist, den Wechsel auf eine SSD empfehlen. Von dieser SSD kann ich nur sagen, dass sie wirklich eine Empfehlung wert ist und ich diese SSD sicher noch in einigen PCs, die bei uns im Haushalt so vorhanden sind, verbauen werde!

Ottimo SSD! Io l’ho installato direttamente nel mio PC portatile, in sostituzione del suo HDD. Devo dire che questo cambio ha dato una nuova vita al mio PC rendendolo molto più performante di prima. Niente più lag durante il normale utilizzo e velocissimo in accensione.

Ho acquistato questo Hard disk da 1Tb da affiancare a un SSD M2 . Sostanzialmente l'ho preso per installare i giochi e i vari programmi , lasciando il piu possibile libero l'M2 dove ho deciso di installare solo il sistema operativo ! A distanza di due anni , lo trovo eccellente . Non ho mai riscontrato problemi o cali di trasferimento . Per il monitoraggio e diagnosi uso Samsung Magician , facilmente scaricabile sul sito ufficiale Samsung . Riguardo l'installazione nessun problema , molto facile , pochi collegamenti e subito operativo ! Velocità di lettura sequenziale fino a 550 MB/s e velocità di scrittura sequenziale fino a 520 MB/s Interfaccia SATA 6 Gb/s compatibile con interfacce SATA 3 Gb/s e SATA 1.5 Gb/s Fattore di forma: 2.5 pollici (verificate che il case abbia lo scomparto dedicato) Insomma , lo consiglio anche a distanza di due anni soprattutto per il rapporto qualità prezzo !
