I use it with an ENO doublenest or other hammock. I normally have a structural ridgeline so I turn this inside out, use the ridgeline hooks on the inside and it keeps the bag off the ground when I'm not filling out the hammock. My favorite thing so far was taking a sleeping pad with me (thermarest neo air) and since it was warm when I first got in the hammock, I could put the pad beside me in the netting instead of in the hammock. When it got colder I could move the pad under me, between the hammock and net and it would stay in place and keep me warm. On a much colder night I put the pad inside the hammock like normal, but on the other nights and times when the temperature was changing I had all kinds of options. I learned this by accident on a trip at multiple altitudes and temps and I think I will hammock camp like this year round now. And it stops bugs! On the C&O canal there is 180+ miles of stagnant canal water and the mosquitos would have eaten me alive but they only got my hand once when it was laying against the net one night. Yes, they can bite through the net, so keep your skin off the net. The net is strong and sturdy, heavier than "it needs to be" but sturdy enough that you don't have to worry about it getting big holes if it comes in contact with a stick. If you can afford the weight and bulk of this net, then you won't be disappointed with it. Me, I'll skimp on other things (like food) and take my net with me from now on. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001DDWK9C | | Brand | ENO | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 703 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | net | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00811201010367, 00811201015249 | | Importer Contact Information | ATM RETAIL 1st Floor Beside P and T Building Lakdi Ka Pul Hyderabad Telangana 500004 | | Item Weight | 255 Grams | | Manufacturer | ENO | | Manufacturer Part Number | BN001 | | Material | net | | Model number | GUARDIANBUGNET-BLACK | | UPC | 811201010367 096355132992 811201015249 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Material:** net - **Brand:** ENO - **Item Weight:** 255 Grams - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00811201010367, 00811201015249 - **UPC:** 811201010367 096355132992 811201015249 ## Images ![ENO Eagles Nest Outfitters - Guardian Bug Net, Hammock Bug Netting - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61wBoDilv4L.jpg) ![ENO Eagles Nest Outfitters - Guardian Bug Net, Hammock Bug Netting - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/612+Ybv5i2L.jpg) ![ENO Eagles Nest Outfitters - Guardian Bug Net, Hammock Bug Netting - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61UgPfGevhL.jpg) ![ENO Eagles Nest Outfitters - Guardian Bug Net, Hammock Bug Netting - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/817EAAr3gnL.jpg) ![ENO Eagles Nest Outfitters - Guardian Bug Net, Hammock Bug Netting - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81NCIbh5VaL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: does this come with a ridge line to hang the net or do you to make your own?** A: It does have a ridgeline. It's too short to be used to keep the net off the top of the hammock. It is just long enough to hook to the carabiners. **Q: Does this work for the double nest??** A: I find it does! Now, I have not had 2 humans in the double nest and utilized the bug net. It works and covers for me (5'2" 110lbs) and my golden retriever. **Q: Does anyone know if this is long enough for the Grand Trunk single and double hammocks (Grand Hammocks are about a foot longer than the ENO hammocks)?** A: No. I have a Grand Trunk Single, and when this bug net goes around at least 4-6 of the hammock sticks outside of the netting. Once you're inside of the hammock it allows two small gaps where the netting does not met the end of the hammock. I mean, it will still serve its purpose, but I wouldn't call it 100%. **Q: Will this fit a 11 foot hammock?** A: The dimensions of this are 9’4” x 4’3” / 2.8m x 1.3m. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 快適なハンモック *by 浜***則 on 25 October 2025* 軽い、設営しやすい、丈夫、コンパクト、言うことなし。 主に夏場のキャンプに使用していますが、快眠もでき、非常に満足です。オプションのカヤと併用しています。 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ain't no bugs on me! *by A***L on 24 September 2013* This princess can't stand bugs, and this bug net does the trick.
