Does this allow the camera to be mounted vertically? Appears to a base plate and grip, but is described as an L bracket.

Hi, since there is no screw hole on the handle for this hand grip, it is impossible to install one end of the handle on the tripod. Only the base plate has the screw holes and can be connected to a tripod (Form a horizontal L).
