About effing one I do something about my chewed up shit.
Can you see that? Replace the harmful aspects of your life. I spent 5+ months dribbling on myself like drunk sheeple. I replaced my sippy cup’s teat and now I feel so secure. It’s like my life is finally together and I want to thank all of my fans. I can drink water laying down, standing up, jogging and even doing some light lunges all because I employed Amazon in the way God intended. #camelbak #bitevalve #fixitgirl #replaced #inspire #hattergunnasayitsfake #secure

Cheers for reusability and hydration
Does the job! I saw some folks upset that you have to cut the straws to fit your bottle. I'm... sorry, I guess? If you're worried about that, don't be: sturdy kitchen shears do the job and the package includes a guide so you don't have to measure or trial-and-error anything.DO take note of what bottle you have; I think the diameter of the straws differs, and you can't trim for that. I can confirm these work for the Eddy with the slight inset around the top, wherein "Camelback" is written in raised letters (see photo). They might also work for others, but check.

Bite valves good. Straw is too big around for 1L Better Bottle
I have a 1000ml (1L) Camelbak Better Bottle. Can't see any other model name as it was branded for my employer. The bite valves are fine replacements but the circumference of the straw is too big. It won't stay stuck on the lid. It would be long enough but just falls off. Straw that fits is on the right and this product is on the left. It is clearly bigger than the 1/4" diameter of the straw that fits.

trimming necessary
I know it says it...and I know it makes sense to only package one product instead of making different straws for every variation of bottle...but its such a pain! And the cut is never as clean as the original! BUT they include a nice little guide on the side of the back of the package so you know exactly where to cut the straw for the bottle you own. works for: eddy, eddy insulated, eddy stainless, eddy stainless insulated, groove. not for use with camelbak kids' bottles. See the user submitted picture.

Look at the directions on the back
Great quality. I have no idea why people would give this a bad review just because they needed to cut the straw and open the bite valve. There is a helpful chart on the back to tell you exactly where to cut for your specific bottle. It isn't even hard to do. I have arthritis and didn't have a problem.

Straw is too long for Eddy water bottle
The bite valve fits but the straw is too long. The packaging specifically says it fits the Eddy water bottle, but it doesn't. It's about a half inch longer than the original straw (you can see in my picture, the original straw is laying next to the new ones). You can't close the lid unless you force the straw to bend to the side. Tried cutting it with scissors but it's way too thick, you will need stronger cutting tools. This same complaint is in the reviews on the actual CamelBak website too so I'm surprised they haven't fixed this obvious issue. 3 stars since only half of the product works as intended, and the other half COULD work if you have power tools. My straw wasn't that bad, I mostly bought this for the bite valve, so I probably won't even bother with the straw.

Great quality, but expensive
I love my CamelBak Eddy water bottles because they are tough and don't drip. Unfortunately, the bite valves do wear out over time. Also unfortunate, Camelbak sells them at a high price point, in my opinion. I went ahead and bit the bullet on these, since I have three bottles with torn up valves. That means that I had to buy two packs, at 8.49 each, which comes to almost $18! A new Eddy cost only $12. I don't use the straws, so that was basically a waste to have them included. Maybe they could cut the cost if they didn't bundle in the optional straw.

Two Bite Valves and Straws, Better Than Buying a Whole New Bottle
Was super glad I found these as a few years ago I heard it was impossible to buy extra bite valves. It is a little unclear from the picture but YES this does come with TWO Bite Valves and TWO Straws. I have had 3 Camelbak Eddy water bottles. Not because they kept breaking, but because I kept losing them... my last one I have managed to hold on to and I've had it so long that the bite valve started to crack a little. This was only annoying because it didn't seal when closed so water would leak out. This pack fixed that problem. The mouth piece fit both a smaller Camelbak Eddy and the larger one and I didn't even have to slit open the plastic like many have described in the review. Just make sure you wash it first because it does smell very plastic-y. The straws I didn't really need to use because mine is in great condition but if you are using them they do need to be cut down as they don't even fit the larger bottle.Overall this package is a great convenience for those of us who like to bite our bite valves a little too much. Like I said before you would have to buy a new bottle if your mouth piece broke- so ~$6 is a pretty good deal for two of them (the straws are just an extra bonus for me)

not suitable for child bottles
The product was described as "Two replacement bite valves and two straws for the eddy Kids' Bottle." but the valves were too short to enable the closing mechanism to work and the straws is not the best fit in terms of width, it was clear from other reviews that they would have to be cut to size, which is relatively easily. These are not suitable for the folding mechanism used in the Kidz CamelBak bottles. The image does not relate to the product bought but shows the closing mechanism they are not suitable for as a replacement.

Good replacement parts but maybe you should go for full new set?
Replacement parts for new, upgraded Eddy version. Would not fit older covers! I can imagine that one would use those rarely from time to time if previous scratched or damaged from frequent, rough or inapropriate cleaning. Do not see them being easily damaged from normal use and cleaning. Note that price for this replacement part very close to full set that includes bottle with cover. Would ptobably recommend going for new full set unless you got attached to the one that you use. Some of us do Not necessarily bad thing. ;)

Does the trick
Had these a couple of times before, they do the trick in replacing your old valve and straw. You need to cut the straw to size which is w little fiddly as the straws are quite tough. But you of course only need to do it the once per straw and then you’re set for a while. It feels expensive to pay so much for these, but they last a long time so it’s not a frequent expense.

Faulty bite valves
I’ve had my camelbak eddy bottle for 4 years and have never had a leak from it but since changing to these bite valves I’ve had a full bottle of water leak all over my handbag. I think there’s something wrong with the quality of these replacement valves.

Great spare parts
My disabled husband loves his Camelbak Eddy bottle & I was thrilled to find that you can buy replacement parts. They fitted perfectly. On th sales spiel it wasn't clear what bottles they fit so needs to list which ones really.
