I ordered this and it didn't fit. my old balancer is stamped 26-3 ca2 cmc 7. how do i know which one will fit?

If this is the balance that you ordered, it should have worked for your replacement as the balances have the same stamp. Unless the incorrect balance was in the window to start with. If you will measure just the visible glass height that will give you the length that your balance should be.

I think a 29” spring , Mine we’re stamped 26 4 and the 27” product was a perfect match. I think the second number might be about the tension. I’m just guessing.
