C1517 Saybrook Wall Clock, Brown Cherry

Absolutely love this clock. Have had it a while now. It keeps perfect time and is a beautiful piece. The chimes (I have set to max in a late 70’s ranch style with over 2000 sq ft) are heard though out the home but not overpowering when it the room with the clock.

Have had clock 4 months. Was very well packed in delivery box. Clock finish was unblemished, looks great. Followed well written set-up instructions and clock has performed flawlessly, keeps accurate time with correct number of rich-tone chimes. I very seldom write reviews, but felt this product deserved it.

I love this clock; just what I wanted. I would rate it down a bit, maybe a 4.5 if I could, because the directions were a bit difficult to follow. However, if you are a logical, patient person who enjoys a bit of a challenge, you will be fine. This sweet clock keeps perfect time and the chimes are deep and pretty for a small clock. I like that there is a pendulum, even though it's just decorative. The most difficult part was the necessity to give the pendulum a slight swing to get it started; really that's a two person job. You can't stand the clock up on a flat surface because of the decorative piece on the bottom. So I took the back off, propped the clock on a counter (with the decorative piece extending over the counter) with the clock facing away from me, gave the pendulum a swing and it started right away. Then, I couldn't lay the clock down (that would stop the pendulum) and awkwardly held the clock upright with the decorative piece on the edge of the counter so the clock could stay upright. Then, I had to screw the back on again, really a two person job. I held the clock upright using my chin. Anywho, it worked, and now it's just the right clock. Update: June 7, 2017 - the chimes began donging 1 number less than the hour time about 2 weeks ago. Now, the chimes are completely random and not connected with time at all. Each hour gets a random number of dongs from 1-12. I've contacted customer support (212 497 1864). I hope they can help as I really like this clock.

Great sounding chiming clock! Only annoyance: the instructions were in such a tiny print I needed a magnifying glass to read them. Tried and returned 2 other clocks because they had such cheap sounding chimes .

I love the sound of the chimes. They don't sound cheap. It seems to be running about two minutes fast. I hqave to look and see how to fix that. All in all I love the clock.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this clock to anyone. It has a lovely Westminster chime sound option. The only negative I have about the chimes is that they use a tube-type chime sound, something that would be found in a high-end grandfather clock. It would be more realistic to have the Westminster chime sound using the rods in this type of clock. Not a huge deal, but it would be more fitting for a wall clock. Also if you are interested in ordering this clock I would click the option that says to put it in an Amazon box. I would do this for added protection for the clock. The first one I ordered without the extra box arrived broken. I have seen several comments on it not chiming correctly. If you follow the directions included with the clock you will not have any issues. I was able to get it up and running in no time. The accuracy of the clock seems to be good as well.. I have had the clock for 5 days

The Bulova Wall Clock was very easy to set up if you follow the directions. It came well packaged and I had it hanging on the wall in 10 minutes. The Westminister sound is great. It looks much more expensive than it was. I recommend if your looking for a wall clock. The color is darker than pictured which I like. I am very happy with my purchase.

This is beautiful! Love the warm cherry finish and the size is perfect. The sound of chimes is rich. So glad to get it!

El reloj llego antes de lo esperado, el manejo de la paqueteria fue bueno, llego el reloj sin detalles, el reloj funciona muy bien y las campanadas amenizan el area del comedor de la casa, reloj elegante y con presencia, solo como recomendacion, hay que leer bien el instructivo para ajustar la hora para cuidar el funcionamento del reloj en un futuro, me encuentro satisfecho con la compra, la descripcion del articulo corresponde claramente con lo que es el articulo.

Muy buen diseño , exelente sonido y material está hermoso , lo único un poco malo es que está un poco más pequeño de acuerdo a las mediciones especificadas y a simple vista si se ve más pequeño , pero en todas las demás categorías está perfecto
