I thought this was a good book when looking through it. I did not pass it on to the parents of the intended recipient because they wished me not to give it, preferring to make their own choices of what would be a suitable book.

Good book to start with if you are interested in becoming an architect
I first became flustered to find out how much you have to know to become an architect, but the book laid out nicely what are the first steps to be taken and various fields of architecture. Many photos in the book also helped. The book is nicely colored and visually appealing.
