Undercooked the crust by a few minutes, make the filling as instructions say, but before you put them in the oven, sprinkle some powdered sugar on top of them. They’re really good. The first time I made them, I made them as described, but the crust was too hard. It taste good, but it’s doesn’t have as good of a mouth feel with it being so hard. But if you undercook it by a few minutes, then it’s absolutely perfect and the crust is soft and flaky.
