As a marine, Phoenix Steele is used to being in control and in charge. Since his accident and recovery, he's definitely not in control and cannot be in charge. He's frustrated, and his brain is no longer always under his control. Head trauma forces him into a therapist's office, where he meets his match in Rose Floris.She's beautiful, thoughtful and can get him to look at the world differently. And they're crazy attracted to each other from the first moment. When a stalker threatens her, Phoenix takes charge. Can they reconcile their budding relationship with their respective roles and the danger ahead? Excellent book in a great series!!

Loved the story except these Steele brothers fall pretty fast in love. Nowhere have I seen the answer to how Feen left the hospital and shot his step mother. Also I don’t understand why none of the women of Phoenix, Gunner, Gage and Axel are only in their own story’s including Jagger’s and don’t show up in any others.

I enjoyed reading about the recovery of Phoenix!  I was amazed how his attitude and demeanor seemed to be challenged and improving with the presence of Rose!  Their chemistry was off the chain!  I love the humor of Gage!  Hilarious!  The only thing I don't like in this series is the fact that the author doesn't mention the fiance's of Phoenix's brothers as the series goes on!  I really would've liked her to keep them all in this series!  Atleast to see how they all interact with the other brothers and other fiances.  Just a thought!  I do believe that everyone will enjoy reading this book/series!  I definitely recommend it!
