Does this product carry a warranty?

It does not carry a warranty. You will need one because they are poorly made. The manufacturer does not stand behind the product, nor does the seller I purchased it from. Neither responded to my complaint about the product failing under less than normal use. Buy a different brand!

what is the weight capacity of the net

I don't know the weight capacity but I don't consider it "heavy duty" as it was too floppy to lift leaves from the bottom of the pool. It looks to have a front lip on it. Would this allow to you get under a loose screw on the pool bottom? Maybe toss it up to net it?

Yes, it does have a front lip that is designed to help pick up debris from the bottom of the pool, especially leaves. I think you should be able to pick up a screw without much trouble. It might take you a few tries, but I’m sure that it would work.

Went out to look at it. Doesn't say. Came in plastic bag & didn't bother looking then to see if there was any paperwork. Quiz Amazon, they should know...
