Whats the over all length?

Hello,Sorry it took me a couple of days to respond to your question, I was in the hospital for kidney stones. Anyhow the total lengeth of this rod, the exhaust one is: 9 inches without counting the tapered ends, so I measured from the score line to score line on the rod, linear. If you include the little ends that are tapred after the score lines it would be a total of 9 and 3/8th inches long/linear. It was installed in my lawn tractor to gap specs, up storke down stoke etc... and worked perfect after replacing of both my intake and exhaust rods on my craftsman riding lawn mower. I have a push rod plate where the plastic around the hole opening broke . can i replace the part or do i have to replace the whole plate?

Replace the entire plate, it will cost you less than $6. Also, check both push rods for damage and make sure that they are not bent or broken. You may find out that the aluminum push rod is bent and must also be ordered and replaced because this is often times what caused the plastic guide in the plate to break.

I used this to replace a broken aluminum push rod 692003. Same dimension, and the steel lasts longer. It is used by OE for the exhaust valve, but it works for the intake valve as well. Briggs & Stratton engine Model 31R707 Type 0034 G1 Code 150115ZA

There's no substitution for quality especially when it comes to the after market supply for our small engine needs, one must always steer clear of the fly by night China manufacturers making a mockery of the secondary parts market. THIS is why you should ALWAYS BUY OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) parts like these. For example, this purchase also included another needed part and I neglected to read the fine print which resulted in me getting an inferior part from another seller that I now have to reorder and send back the inferior part. Don't be me! Only Buy OEM! Learn from my mistakes both past and current. Only Buy OEM! Yes, I know I'm repeating myself. It's THAT important. Zip~ p.s. For those needing the vale settings they are .004 for the intake clearance and .006 for the Exhaust. Double Check your clearances after you've rolled the engine over a few times to make sure everything is secure and properly adjusted.
