The Saphir Pate de Luxe wax is easily the best shoe polish I’ve ever used. The difference in quality is obvious the moment you open the tin as the scent alone hints at the craftsmanship behind it. A little goes a long way, and it spreads smoothly without clumping or streaking. After buffing, the shine is deep, mirror-like, and unmistakably refined which is exactly the kind of finish you see on well-kept luxury leather. It also helps nourish the leather instead of just coating it, which keeps shoes supple over time rather than dry or brittle. I’ve tried many brands before, but none deliver this balance of rich color, conditioning, and high-gloss finish. The black tint restores depth beautifully without over-darkening lighter leathers, and the formula feels old-world in the best way. It's pure, simple, and effective. I bought this after watching countless online videos of people bulling boots to a mirror shine, many recommend this brand of polish. After trying it out I can see why they recommend it. It quickly becomes tacky once applied to the shoe allowing for further layers to be created without taking the last layer off. Once bulled to a mirror shine with a cotton pad and water it holds a nice shine which lasts without cracking or fading. It smells nice too which is a bonus. A tin will last you years which means it’s great value for money.

I've been a member of the CAF for many years and this is by far the best boot polish I've ever used. This stuff is magic, just a few layers and you've got a mirror finish. I always thought Kiwi was the best, but Saphir blows it out of the water. It's pricier than Kiwi but worth every penny. Given how few coats it takes to get a great shine, the tin lasts much longer mitigating the cost. My boys use it for the Army Cadets parade boots too.
