Everything I tried to figure it out resulted in the 3 way switch not functioning properly. I had an electrician that recommended this product. Wiring one side of the 3 way as a single pole switch and using the satellite remote as the other end of the 3 way switch. Guess what? It worked. And can be hooked up wirelessly to a Lutron hub to make them a smart switch that connects to your Google home app. Love it! And they look good too.
