I have a cannon dale and the front fork doesn't have hole in the middle where the light mounts as directed. But I used the mounts from a reflector on the handle bar to use one of the mounts that came with the light. It worked perfect. I had a black one that I used it installed on an other bike from walmart and most of the forks have that hole, so no problem if you want this light. It is very bright! If you want brighter, like a car headlight, then I would look somewhere else, but you have to consider the bulkiness of battery with those lights. It has the exact look that I was going for for my bike. The casing seems to be pretty nice quality. The light itself is plenty bright. The downsides: the hardware is finicky, and at the beginning I could not get the light to stay up for anything. However, I finally got it to sit up correctly after tightening the hardware with a wrench. Another drawback is the cheap switch. When I go to turn it on, I'm afraid I am going to break the thing off.
