Feels deep to me. Hope it helps. **Q: Does it look bulky for a small room?** A: Not really. Pay attention to measurements - it is low to the ground. **Q: Is the red a deep red (like the picture) or a light, bright red?** A: We ordered the grey so I'm not sure. **Q: Is the fabric removable from the coushins? Fits perfectly in our small condo living room (or in a basement). The short height of it gives the entire room a spacious feeling that you wouldn't get with typical sofas. Also, the shape of it is so comfortable you just want to sink into it and you can easily fall asleep on it. Sits 7 comfortably. At first I was apprehensive because I didn't know how to take stains out of micro fiber suede! Turns out it's really easy! Once I spilled olive oil and it came right out after soaking the stain with plain yogurt. Weird, I know, but to my amazement it actually worked. Then I accidentally marked it with a pen. Again, came out in seconds with nail polish remover and q tips. We have the light brown color and it's easy to coordinate with other decor and furniture. Also saw the red version in a store and it was pretty sexy if you can pull it together. Although the ottoman is nice, we've put it away in a closet because it didn't fit well in our living room, but it makes for a nice sectional. The only negative is that the sofas are so lightweight that you'll need to get good quality furniture stubs (not expensive) from home depot to keep them from sliding if you're going to put them on wood flooring. ### ⭐ This is knock off of a very nice Roche Bubois sofa *by D***4 on October 1, 2017* This is knock off of a very nice Roche Bubois sofa. The design, for me, was perfect and I thought I had grabbed a real bargain. The construction is not so good. After a few months the filling had shifted and now sections of the seating feel as if you are sitting directly on a rigid wooden frame. Terrible construction. Not for everyday use. This is style over substance and unfortunately, I need to buy another sectional. I should have read the broader comments on this product.
