I.E. I can move a little more oil, at the same pressure. You can change the spring in the bypass valve to build higher pressure **Q: Anyone had this pump for a couple years? Is it still lasting?** A: I placed this pump on my 2002 4.8 GMC in 2017. at idle it's 50psi, cruising it's 65psi. revving out it's 70psi. 2022 it's still going. **Q: do I put both O rings on pickup tube and does this pump need to be primed?** A: Single o-ring and it doesn't hurt to prime the pump but on an engine that's already been driven regular daily, it's already pre lubed.
