It’s either on, or it’s off. No settings to change. No time outs or other smart box features to worry about. I connect it to a vehicle, turn it on, and it’s already dialed in at a perfect voltage range for passthru programming of most cars. Literally set it and forget it. That peace of mind is invaluable for passthru programming. Runs between 13.6 and 14.4 vdc depending on the vehicle’s “ignition on” load. Cables are a bit long but I shortened mine to minimize voltage drop between the supply and the clamps. Cooling fan comes and goes as it should. I’ve ran mine on a program event for 3 hours without any issues.
