Paddles only !!!
This only works with paddles. If you're looking for a good quality joystick adapter , then get a quadtari.

Works as it should
There is not much to say other than it works on the original Atari 2600 and the retron 77, please not as they said it will not work on flashback Atari units, I have tried and confirm.

Doesn’t work
I bought this to use with an original Atari 2600 Light Sixer with original paddles and joysticks. I plugged the paddles into one side and the joystick into the other and the unit was plugged into the player one joystick port. Popped in a Kaboom! cartridge to play but the fire button didn’t work. The paddle controller worked but it was very jumpy. Then I tried a joystick game (Megamania) and nothing worked. Not movement or fire. This will be returned.

No 4 player Video Olympics Pong on RetroN 77
With Rangers on a retron 77, very smooth, and not jittery. But disappointed to find out after the fact that Video Olympics Pong can’t play 4 players. The paddle buttons actually work properly, unlike when playing an Atari Flashback 8 that I have (which can play 4 players, but one set of paddles have non functional buttons when in the left port.

Unusable. So jumpy
When connecting the ranger and switch to paddle mode, it almost works but it’s so jumpy that it’s impossible to play any games in the Retron77
