Viva Decor Rusty Patina, 50ml

Not really what I wanted but works well with chalk paste

I used my finger to rub this over a fall themed decoupage project, it adds a sheer rich luminous quality to the project. Beautiful. There's a label on the base of the product that tells you that the instructions are under the label on top of the jar. You do have to pull the top label away (not easy) and there are instructions in several languages there. There is one video on youtube but it's in German, you can still follow it to see how it works.

After recently restoring a dozen jars of Viva Decor Inka Gold which had dried up I decided to try out their Rusty Patina. It is more of a liquid than a paste. It was easy to apply with a sponge. A bit translucent so additional coats were needed. Rich color. Cleaned up easily with handsoap and warm water. On the pricey side for the amount. I applied Saran wrap over the jar opening before replacing the lid to help get an air-tight seal.

So disappointed in this product, I should have read a little more careful on what it was. it's very runny and it's has glitter in it doesn't look like rust at all. Looks very cheap!! I have trashed it, going to repurchase a paste instead found a product that I purchased years ago should have bought it again but didn't wanted to try something new bad mistake on my part. Yeah this product is horrible. Looks like cheap Christmas glitter.

This is too shiny with metallic to look like a genuine rust patina. After using it, I had to apply a small patchy amounts of matte medium to make it look authentically rusted. Other than that it works fine.

Really bright yellow orange. Almost gold colored

It might work just fine but there are no directions of any kind with it. I would like to know the base to know how to clean brushes. Water cleanup? Or solvent of some type? Nothing about storage or flammability so I guessed water/acrylic base. No instructions for surface prep. Waterproof? Does it need to be sealed for outdoor use? Nada.

Very pretty! Not a bunch of paint but you don’t need much if your combining with other colors. Very good quality.

Es muy bueno y me gusta cómo ha quedado. Lo he usado para hacer una muñeca steampunk.

Eigentlich recht gut, man muss etwas Experimentieren und noch mit anderen Farben spielen, dann ist es super 👍

Mit Hilfe einer braunen Grundfarbe lassen sich alle Materialien in einen warmen Gegenstand gestalten. Für mich wirkt die Farbe in Verbindung mit Grünpflanzen im Bad sehr mediterran
