GERBER Danze D401157SS Opulence Single Handle Kitchen Faucet with Side Spray, Stainless Steel

I love the looks and feels of this faucet. Installed it in 2018. Since day one, like others here, I was surprised to find out the side spray is not brass, rather plastic made. Unacceptable for the price range and the advertised brass faucet. Minus 2 stars. Fast forward to 2024, the faucet starts experiencing significant waterflow slowdown. Opened all possible parts and cleaned everything possibly removable. Replaced the cartridge. To no avail. Measured the water flow, faucet produces 1Gl in 3 minutes. Expected about a gallon in less than 30seconds. Measured the water supply, it gives 1Gl in 30 seconds as expected. Conclusion, the faucet is clogged, but the clogged area isn't removable so not fixable. Minus 2 more stars. Major disappointment to have Replace an expensive faucet after just 6 years, with no ability to fix. Worst part they have stopped selling only the brass model version of this, so cant replace with the same. Conclusion, avoid.

This faucet works very well in our 1700's kitchen with a farm sink. It's not too large so blends in nicely with the old-style kitchen. After using it for 3 years, we found a little pitting on the faucet (the part that swings over the sink). After searching for the part for weeks, I sent a note about it through the Danze website form answering all their sternly worded questions about putting in my address, etc. After about 3 weeks, they just mailed me a new part - no questions asked, with no additional communication (except notification that it was coming) after THREE years of using the faucet. The faucet has a nice weight, is beautiful and works great - sprayer too (we just spray it into the sink after turning the faucet off so it doesn't leak). I got a Danze soap dispenser too - it's OK. But the faucet is amazing, and we so appreciate the excellent customer service.

Well built. Both sprayer and faucet body are metal and have nice weight to them. I ran a Plumbing company for 17yrs, and have experienced Danze before. Water pressure is fantastic, not sure what other people have coming into their lines to start but the water saver restrictor, common in all modern faucets, didn't impede water flow and is easily removable if you already have low pressure coming into home. In other reviews I read about sprayer line popping off and leaking everywhere, if sprayer head wasn't properly threaded into hose I could see that happening but if installed correctly both ends of sprayer hose screw down tightly.. As for warranty, working in the industry for 17yrs I have called on Danze for warranty and service parts for older and have always had an exceptional service experience with them, that is one of the reason I chose Danze as well as overall quality of product..

Very happy with this faucet. Good quality and looks amazing installed. Works great, would highly recommend. Great value!
