Cascade Mountain Tech Lightweight Aircraft-Grade Aluminum Trekking Poles with Extended Down Grip Plus Tip Kit

Great product and great price. I bought these trekking poles for my friend and me for our Camino journey. They were lightweight, but very strong and a great support for both uphill and downhill. These poles easily folded into my checked luggage. Definitely recommend them.

These were great for my needs. Took them through the Scottish Highlands for the Cateran Yomp. They folded up up tightly and compact and was able to easily carry until needed. Sturdy for sure as I climbed up the mountains giving me stability. It came with various tip options too so that was great. Definitely recommend!

I have been using these poles for about a year now through 100+ miles of medium to strenuous hiking, and so far it's been good. Lightweight, not fragile, and good assortment of tips. Took away one star because one time the locking mechanism slipped (although I'm not sure if that is because it wasn't clipped in right).

I use these walking sticks a lot and have been a real aid to me getting around in the field or even in town as I have a limp. These hiking poles are very durable but light weight, easy to adjust for size and collapses down for storage. These hiking grips are good size and sturdy enough to feel safe but soft enough to avoid blisters on my palms after long hikes, very strong and stable hiking poles

I bought these for hiking on moderate terrain in the Yosemite CA area. They are easy to unfold, assemble, and adjust. Work great for intended purpose. I also like the attachments for different surfaces but I didn't need them on this trip. I will continue to use these for all future hiking adventures.

Maybe work for a small walk around a neighborhood park but for a real trail this were the worst hiking sticks ever. Didn’t stay as one piece, the pieces kept bending and coming out creating deep stress as we were hiking. After a while the one totally broke so I can’t even say I will return them. If you need a good pair, invest better price but get quality for safety. What’s the point of they don’t work (don’t lock in place).

Wanted a small enough hiking pole to fit into a suitcase for a trip to New Zealand. I had another pair that screws together but they were still pretty long for the suitcase. These poles collapse to only 16", are light, strong, easily assembled. Using them in New Zealand now and very very happy with them.

Are these comparable to the $200+ carbon fiber poles? No, of course not, they are a bit on the heavy side and don’t have the same vibration dampening. They are however a decent inexpensive option that seem to be rather durable. Great grip comfort and flexibility. They also fold down to go into checked luggage easily. WAY better than the cheap poles my wife bought at a local big box store at the same price. Most of the negative reviews I’ve seen are due to user error.

Had previously purchased CMT's 3K Carbon Fiber Trekking Poles after reading a glowing review on the GearLab website and as I'm about to travel overseas thought I would need a pair more suitable for such as these can be folded down to a smaller length and if they happen to get bent I can hopefully straighten them. Wish me well...

I received this item on the 20th of August and went hiking with it. The poles broke 3 days into a trek during normal use. It wasn't the aluminum itself, but one of the joints that attaches the poles to one another. Extremely disappointing!
