Works Great
I was worried by some of the bad reviews but I purchased two of these lights for my shed and they work great. They have different settings for the brightness and "on" duration and come on as soon as I open the door. They were super easy to install and the batteries have lasted quite well. The only problem is during the evening when there is still a little light outside but it is dark inside the shed. The PV panel senses there is still light outside to it won't allow the lights to turn on. To turn the lights on when there is still a little light outside, all you need to do is unplug the cable from the PV panel at the light.

Both worked for about 1 month
Update: they got back to me, sent me a new set about 3 months ago, and it’s working great!! Easy to install Very bright Worked as I had wanted (off during the day, motion detector at night.) Problem: one will not work at all. I’ve tried everything. Both receive enough light, I’ve tried disconnecting the solar panel and pressing the button. Nothing. Going to try to reach out to the manufacturer since these tout a one year warranty. The other one works well, and I love it! I just wish they’d both work.

Fantastic lights!!
I can’t give a full five stars because of the condition of the lights when I received them… the original product box was damaged and the water proof seal was hanging out of all of them… however these lights are the second set I’ve purchased and three out of the four work out of the box… not too bad for the price…. I don’t know what happened to these lights but as a mechanic and jack of all other trades I can probably fix the forth light… As far as the product goes.. these are simply the best solution to dark areas… wood shed, she shed, side yard, doggie poop yard! Etc I even put a potentiometer on one to mount indoors in the dark hallway and dropped the cord from the solar panel down through the swamp cooler opening.. we now have a solar powered motion light that is a dim as we want it to be in our hallway… There are programmable functions where the light can stay dim until it senses motion then brightens for it’s predetermined time then returns to dim…or off… your choice.! Even tho these lights came a little messed up there still a great deal for the money and the others I have were purchased well over a year ago..! I find that reviews are posted on products that are not fully tested (longevity wise) therefore I wanted to tell you these lights have lasted the test of time as well as function!! The fact that I’m not returning the inoperative lights must speak for itself… still worth it…

Easy Install Solar Floodlights for Security, Convenience, Power Outage
I installed these to replace my front and back porch AC-powered motion-sensor floodlights. They act as security lights to trigger when a visitor, animal, or intruder approaches. They act as convenience lighting when I am entering or leaving at night or shoveling snow at night from the porch or sidewalk They do not require AC power, so they do not add cost to my electric bill, and they also work as emergency lights when there is a power outage. I mount them under the eave so they are sheltered from the weather. I also have one light mounted inside my garage, with the solar panel mounted outside, facing south.

Not Completely Worthless
The lights wont come on until and unless I unplug the solar panel. So every day you have to plug to charge, then unplug to use at night. I should sue them. Jist kidding. Or am I? UPDATE: After giving up and letting it sit, one of the lights randomly started working after about 3 days while still plugged in. The other one started working a few days later. Apparently they need a 100% full charge before they'll start working? Idunno. I have amended my review to a generous 3: The friction that holds the light and the solar panel is not enough to prevent wind/weather from moving them around. After the first hard rain after installing them, the light was pointed straight down instead of where I left it, which was angled away from the structure upon which it was mounted. The brightness is "OK". The "dim" mode serves no other function than to let you know the light is functioning - It's not bright enough to actually illuminate anything. The full "on" mode is about as bright as the cheapest, weakest LED light I have seen. It's OK.

Not bad for the price
The only thing I don’t like is I wish the lights would stay on longer when they detected motion. At times I will use the light to find the key to the door and unlock it, but it will cut off so I have to fumble around for a second. Other than that I have to say I love this system. It is a struggle to find a place to put the panels and make sure you have enough wire to put the lights where you want them (they do make extensions that will work with the cable if it doesn’t reach) but regardless they work great. I’ve had them for a few months now, I always leave them to where they shine a little light but fully turn on when motion is detected and they are still working when I get up in the morning. I highly recommend them

Solar Cells VERY poorly made! Definitely not even water resistant.
I just received these lights this morning. Upon opening them I noticed that one of the solar panels has several cells that are bent and overlapping each other. The encapsulent was then layed over the cells and has bubbled very badly. I understand that this may just be a manufacturing issue with this one panel and may not directly effect the overall quality of the light, but that leads me to the other major issue with these lights. I was curious to see if the poorly made solar panel would even charge the light, so I placed both lights in the sun on my patio table. After a very short and light rain shower one of the lights now has moisture in the housing. Both of these lights were going to be installed in a slightly exposed area, therefore will be exposed to some rain every now and then. This will not work! Non of the screws holding the lights or solar panels together are sealed in any way, nor is the actual housing for the led light. If 5 minutes of a light sprinkle will let in moisture, then they will definitely not work in any exposed or partially exposed area. Now with a bad solar panel, and moisture in 1 led housing I will not be wasting my time installing them. DO NOT purchase these lights if they are going to be installed in any area that is exposed to the weather.

Great value
I love these lights. They give me the right amount of light just when I need it. I set them up to illuminate under my deck where my kayaks, wood, and various supplies are stored. At night this area was too dark for a good view by my security camera. Not any longer. Easy to setup. Longevity will need to be determined but for the price I'm extremely happy. Only knock I have is against Amazon. We pay for Prime for the 2 day shipping and Amazon advertises Prime as such. However, most shipments arrive in 3, sometimes 4 days. I feel this is due to USPS, but they shouldn't use 2 day shipping as a selling point if they can seldom provide it.

Just About Perfect
Just added these to two hard-top car shelters i installed recently. Perfect for backing in and unloading groceries or whatever on those dark and snowy nights. It's just Day One, but they're performing as expected. Plenty bright enough to see by on a dark night. Installation was straightforward, i mounted them on the 2x2" steel supports for the shelter roof, aimed the solar panel to the brightest part of the sky, and plugged the cord into the light. Took this image just after dark. We'll see how well they do on Day 2, and Day 300, especially if they can recharge on cloudy days, but i expect the overnight drain will be minimal because they're mostly off. Definitely recommend these. Update: Two+ years since installed, still working perfectly. Need to order another :-)

Die Solarleuchten sind schon lange im Einsatz. Sie verrichten ihr da sein zuverlässig. Schön ist der Bewegungssensor der automatisch sich zu schaltet. Bei Bedarf gerne wieder.
