My wife and I decided to go to Utah for our baby moon and we bought this knowing that we have a roof top cargo carrier we were going to be using on our Excursion SUV. It worked great! I am 6ft and at the time 275 lbs. This step was so helpful to get all of our camping gear and luggage up to the roof top carrier. It was very sturdy and I could easily place one foot on it and put everything up there and take everything down. It didnt harm the paint at all and his nice grips on it to help keep your foot on it when it's raining. I purchased it during a lightening deal so it saved some money but definitely worth it if you have a tall SUV or Truck with a carrier on top. I would assume it would work great for putting Kayaks up on the roof or a Canoe as well. Haven't tried that yet, but I'm sure we will eventually. Overall I'm very pleased with it and will most likely be buying another one.

I use it mainly to get kayaks on and off of the roof rack on my Subaru Crosstrek, and for that purpose it works very well. Solid metal, feels solid. It does mount fairly high, so you will probably need to step up onto the door frame or running boards if you have them first. Especially on the rear door. It is a bit wobbly once you're up on it, so be careful.

I bought this to have for a "just in case" moment when I tie something to my roof racks. They're an awesome idea and I wish I came up with it. Sturdy for sure.

Absolutely worth it, anyone that has to load items in a roof cargo rack OR washing and waxing your vehicle this is amazing. It’s stable, durable, easy to use and adjust if needed.

These are great for programming, adjusting or repairing your garage door opener without having to move your car out of the garage.

It's a sturdy piece of kit, but won't work on a Tesla Model Y. I bought this so that I could clean the roof glass without dragging out a step ladder. The problem is that the door latch on the Model Y is at about mid-thigh level which means that the step is really high, almost 30" off of the ground. Couple that with the fact that there is nothing to grab onto on the roof of the Model Y to pull yourself up and it just is not a workable (or safe) solution.

I bought this step attachment for our Kia Telluride so we could easily reach the roof rack, and let me just say it delivered. My husband is 6'2" and around 200 pounds, and this little gadget held him up with no wobbling, no bending, no drama. It attached to the door latch securely and gave him the perfect boost to strap down our rooftop luggage like a pro. He was up there with confidence, tightening straps like he was born to pack for road trips. 😂 Honestly, it’s one of those small things that makes a big difference when you're loading up a tall SUV. Compact, sturdy, and easy to use 10/10 would recommend for anyone who’s tired of climbing on tires or playing rooftop Tetris from ground level.

Absolutely brilliant tool that just clips onto your car/vans door receiver. It gives extra height when trying to secure ladders etc onto roof racks etc. Good and sturdy. I would highly recommend this product
