Great product and great customer service
I love this product. (I had an old golf buddy, which was good also, but only displayed one distance at a time.) The CALLAWAY does it all. The 1st screen displays frt, ctr, back, hole #, par and time of day. 2nd screen displays hazards. You can record your score, putts, and gir.Another interesting item I discovered, it also gives you measurements to the green if you are behind the green. Most devices stop when you approach the green. (For those of us that over shoot the green, this is very useful)It is very easy to get to any of the options, just a button press.Battery life is good. Easily gets you through a round of golf with 1/2 battery life left. I have not tried it on 2 rounds because I always charge it between rounds. If worn as a watch only, it lasts 8 days. Its also very handsome, even for women. Very sleek and comfortable. You can easily wear it as a watch after the round while having lunch.Good value for the price.ADDENDUM:Right at the 1 yr date it stopped holding a charge. I contacted IZZO and they replaced it. They told me I shouldn't leave it on the charger 24/7.Just about 1yr later the replacement stopped holding a charge. This time they said my wall adapter probably didnt allow enough amps through?. Oh well, they replaced it anyway.I am so pleased because I love this gps. It looks good, and gives me all the features I need and great customer service.I highly recommend it.

Simple to use and priced right.
The SearchBased on the Garmin S2 a friend had, I decided to get a golf watch. After research, I settled on the Garmin S2, S5, or S6 but they were pricey so I delayed. The reviews mentioned pressing so many buttons to get what you needed and that concerned me. Then I played golf with a friend who had a slim, fit bit type watch tied to his smartphone app, but he had to be within a certain distance for it to work. But it got me thinking, what is it I really want the watch to do? I decided not to spend a lot of money on the bells and whistles of the Garmin and others, but to find a watch that told me the distances to the pin and the hazards. That was all a person of my skill level really wanted, just the basics and at less cost than the Garmins.I started my search all over again with new criteria AND the realization I did not want to spend time managing the golf watch and all the modes and statistics...that was another job I did not want. My final criteria was reading the manuals to insure the watch would be simple to operate without a steep learning curve. The purchaseI looked at the Garmin S20, S40 and the Callaway GPSy for about $150 on Amazon and settled on it as the easiest to use. So far I have played 3 rounds of 9 holes each and it fits my criteria. It has the pin distance from the fairway with front/back/middle, the distances to hazards, front and back which I really like so I can determine if I should lay up or try to go over it, and dogleg distances. Additionally, it has an odometer and scorekeeper as well as shot distance. The reason for the 4 stars is that I have not figured out how to get the odometer to work. I can get it started but as soon as I go back to another screen, it seems to revert to zero. This is pilot error but I do not know what I am doing wrong so I can't correct it. I have not used the scorekeeper and probably won't. The watch also tells time and date.Overall, I am happy with the watch and the price and not having to manage it. The watch does what I asked for a reasonable price so I can readily recommend it.Addendum: 8/24/17 After about 10 months the watch band broke...actually the buckle fell off. I have used it less than 20 times. A quick call to the manufacturer IZZO, and the lady sent me a replacement band in less than a week, no cost. I am very happy with the quick service and hope the new band lasts a little longer. So far the watch has done well and I would buy it again.

NO SCORECARD FUNCTION
I just received, my watch as promised, but having scrolled through the functions, there is no "On/Off" option for "Scorecard" on the "Settings" page. Here is the list of available options:AlarmDate TimeUnitLanguageBacklightSoundDisplay TypeDaylightSavingsShotDistanceModel InfoThe watch looks and feels great, haven't had a chance to use it yet but I was looking forward to using ALL of the advertised options. Will change the rating after I play a round this weekend, so long as I can get some kind of response to the issue.Edit 3/13/2016: I played 9 holes Friday, 18 holes Saturday. The GPS worked perfectly showing distances to the greens. Watch was comfortable and lasted both rounds with no charge needed. Unfortunately not only was the "Scorecard" option not available but the "Shot Distance " function did not work. 2 stars for now, I'm going to return for another try. I should've mentioned I purchased a refurbished device. I'll upload a photo of the failed "Shot Distance" screen.Edit 4/18/16: The firmware update was simple and quick, all options functioned as described. I updated the courses while I was at it which took some time but in fairness there were over 28,000 courses. Picks up location and courses quickly. The yardages were fairly accurate. The battery lasted 2 rounds over 2 days and still had 1 bar left. I am completely satisfied with this purchase and would recommend the product to friends. I only wish it had the option to save rounds but can't beat the price for what it does offer. Also the watch never interfered with my swing.

The unit finds the course just fine but very slow finding satellite
The unit finds the course just fine but very slow finding satellite. works great for distance to greens and other measurements. i do have one problem i can't seem to correct. The clock won't set to the correct time on the course setting. It resets every time and then when i go to the" play golf " setting it resets 1 hour off.1 hour behind so i reset to +4 respective to my time zone and it doesn't set to that but to +3.Help.
