Applied, rubbed, waited 20 minutes, then washed. It saved a very expensive blouse and all my favorite white tshirts. I've since switched to an aluminum free deodorant. It's charcoal magnesium, it works, and doesn't leave stains. Still lots of product left. If it didn't work for you, it says on the bottle that it works best if you haven't used bleach prior, so that may be the reason. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars This did not work at all. *by G***K on Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2020* This did not work at all. I used it on four Callaway golf shirts that are made with opti dry fabric. I applied solution to both the inside and outside of armpits. I worked it in with a toothbrush and let it sit for 20 minutes before placing in washer. There was no noticable improvement in stains. Don't know if it might work on a different fabric type, but very disappointed in this product. On a positive note I did find a new deodorant, Dove Mens Plus, that claims to not stain armpits. Time will tell.... ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Warning - will ruin certain fabrics, works ok on white shirts if you follow these instructions *by E***Y on Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2017* The problem is that aluminum compounds in most deodorants will eventually stain garments yellow. These compounds are very hard to remove with regular stain remover, and are most noticeable on white shirts.Raise aims to dissolve the aluminum salts and eliminate the stains.The problem is that the chemical used to achieve this effect can completely ruin and discolor the dye in certain shirts. I applied this to a few shirts that were just starting to get signs of a stain, and on two of them it completely discolored the shirt. It turned one blue shirt green immediately, and a purple shirt exhibited bright pink patches where the chemical hit it within a couple of minutes of application.So I was pretty unhappy about that. It does warn to test fabrics first, if you use this product make sure you do this at the bottom hem or you could be really sorry as the stains are basically permanent.On shirts where the dye is not discolored by the chemical, the product can work reasonably well. However, don’t expect miracles. The best use for this remover is to pre-emptively spray on white shirts once every few washes to break down the compounds before they start to stain. It does work well for this.
