It does good hiding urine smells. It doesn't hard clump like clay, but it does clump. More like a real sticky mud pie. I think it's made of similar stuff to what they put in diapers. The cats don't bury their poop in this so it makes it easy to clean and i use a poop bag instead of the scoop to get it out. The litter is more of a chip rather than a pearl so they don't roll everywhere like this brand in the green style bag. The cats aren't avoiding the box with this in it so it's good enough for us.

This is definitely one of the best cat litters I’ve tried! The crystals absorb odors extremely well and really help keep the litter box fresh for a longer time. I love that it’s almost completely dust-free, so it doesn’t make a mess around the box and is much better for both my cats and me.The clumping formula works great, making cleanup quick and easy. I also appreciate that it’s fragrance-free because my cats are sensitive to strong scents. I have multiple cats at home, and it still controls odors amazingly well.The bag lasts a long time and is totally worth it for the quality. I will definitely keep buying this litter.

I've normally used Soft on Paws and Fresh Scent variations which have been great for no smell and little tracking, but when the crystals have dried up after absorbing the pee its SO dusty. I wanted to try clumping version of the same litter to combat that issue only for it to have even worse issues. The 'Ultra Clump' does not hide or cover the smell of cat pee and it tracks so badly its like a constant snow day happened around the box. If a pee clump dries against the side of the box it's like rock hard glue I have to scrap at to get it off. For the cost I had hoped it would've done better or even come close to the other variations I've used for years, but it doesn't and I wouldn't get it again or recommend the Ultra Clump.Edit: Since the litter I got to replace this hasn't come yet.. I've had longer to deal with this litter and it is absolutely the worst litter I've dealt with in years. I get so frustrated scooping it and it's tracking seems to keep getting worse. Making it down to 1 star. Never again.

I wanted to try non clay alternatives. I have bought pretty litter and this one.CONS My complaint with this and pretty litter is they track alot more than any other litter because they adhere to everything. it is very dusty as others have said which makes me uncomfortable. I do not like that its sharp little crystals. it sticks to fur and the cats can get it in their eyes. Its a little pricey.PROS Odor control is suprisingly good and this clumps well. after scooping its basically oderless and also pretty. this serves its purpose for the litter box i have near the kitchen. i hate litterboxes but i have to have one there. I believe the high cost is made up for that this is not wasted as much as other litters. scooping is very clean.

We like this better than Pretty Litter

Meh, I don’t think it was better than other litters I’ve used. My cats got the crystals stuck all over their paws and made even a hugger mess than with other litters I’ve used. It doesn’t do a good job at containing odors. It’s dusty and does not do a good job at clumping. I would not recommend it. I’ll have to go back to my tidy cats or great litter for now.

I love this litter! I have tried almost everything on the market and it is so superior that I wish I'd had it for previous cats. Check the date on the reviews which complain of dust. I think the company must have fixed that problem as I have no dust at all. It's soft on the paws of my kitten and she no longer flings litter all over the room while trying to get sharp pieces off her feet. I did the owner test and pushed my hands into this clumping litter versus the non clumping and versus Pretty Litter. I found the Pretty Litter to be much sharper and the Litter Pearls non-clumping to be about the same as the clumping Litter Pearls. Clumping is a bit easier to clean. I did buy a large Amazon chenille bath mat to put under the box and it traps whatever small pieces of litter have stuck to her feet. I just take it outside to shake. I haven't tried all the Litter Pearls variations but the unscented clumping so far is my favorite. I see very little difference between the clumping and the non-clumping but the clumping is so much easier to maintain. A quick scoop and the box is cat approved clean. My suggestion is to put at least 3" minimum in the box so that nothing has a chance to stick to the bottom of the box. Yes it is more expensive than most other litters but in my book it's worth every penny. My friend who was using the bathroom even commented that there was no cat odor at all.

No odor but you have to soak the litter box to get the concrete out of the bottom. None of the other “gel” litters I have used get hard like this one. I have a partial bag that I don’t intend to use.

Yes it clumps but it sticks to the bottom of the box like concrete! This is good cat litter but not enough to justify the price for me

Es la peor arena que he tenido. En cuanto los gatos la usan, el olor es terrible, no controla para nada los olores de queda oliendo así aunque se limpie el arenero.No es cierto que no moja el fondo, aunque tenga las 3-4” recomendadas de profundidad.Se hace polvo toda conforme la vas usando.La peor es la de lavanda por el olor como se combina con el orín de gato.¡Evítenla!
