Great for refreshers course
Love the set up of the worksheets. Not to overwhelming for little minds and fun to do. My son is starting 2nd grade and the weeks we have done so far has been pretty simple for him but it is helping to get him in a routine while refreshing his memory without being to hard and frustrating him. We are loving it so far. Spelling is something he struggled with last year in 1st so I would say if you have a strong speller go up a level or they might get bored.

Good book for homeschooling
The lessons are okay for 1-2 grade . But you should continue on with higher grades and include bonus words each week. Also helped with handwriting. His testing ranged from 80-100%

great for a 1st grader
As a homeschool mom of a daughter who was an early reader, I found this a little too easy for her, but I do think it is great for the average 1st grader. I wouldn't classify it as the 2nd grade level though
