Convenient to use
I have a few cables (video, Ethernet, etc.) draped around my house and used these cord clips to help hold them up. In the past, I used the white ones, but I was excited to see a clear version so it would look neater on my non-white walls. Here are some things I think are most important: * SIZE: These can comfortably hold a Cat 5e Ethernet cable (the reason I originally got them), plus maybe another very small cable if you need to (3.5mm audio? never tried). It can also hold one Monoprice Cat 6 Ethernet cable but with no room to spare. I couldn't quite fit in my coax/RG6 cable in, but that will depend on the wire gauge. A thick DVI cable was also too big for these, but it does fit in the medium size. * STICKINESS: The white strips do stick more strongly than the clear ones. I've only noticed this when trying to run cables around corners, which I've solved by loosening up my turn radius a bit--something I probably should be doing for the sake of the cable, anyway. I don't think this will really matter for cord clips because I can't imagine someone using them for anything heavy enough to matter in the first place. In either case, you'll probably also want to follow their preparation instructions, including cleaning the area with alcohol first and allowing it to try, as well as having some "rest" time after installation before use to allow the adhesive to work better. * REMOVAL: I've changed my mind about where I want my cables and how I want them organized a few times. I've always had the clear strips remove without damage as long as I follow the instructions. Crucially, you need to pull the non-adhesived tab on the strip straight down--very far down. As it stretches, the adhesive holding the strip to both the hook and the wall will loosen (so hold the hook with your other hand to avoid projectile hook injuries). You *cannot* just pull the strip off the wall normally. That's the only time when I've damaged my paint, and it's only when I accidentally pulled the hook and strip off the wall during a cable-routing accident, and that was long enough ago that I can't even remember if it was a white or clear strip (I suspect the white ones are more likely to cause damage in this situation). * PRICE: These are hard for me to find locally, but on similar Command products, Amazon always seems to have the best price. Amazon also has a good price on the clear refill strips, which I can't even find locally. The hooks themselves are reusable. The pack comes with a couple extra strips, but since I've done a lot of rearranging, I've had to buy more. * OTHER: With both these and the white hooks, I've had the tab that the "arm" of the hook is supposed to latch into break off. This prevents the hook from working as intended, but with larger cables the "arm" still holds the cable in enough that I can barely even notice. I've had this happen on a few hooks (total--I've gone through several packs of these) and can probably blame at least a couple of those on me pulling too hard trying to put too much in the hook. In general, I think these clips work well and are priced reasonably. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants to organize cords or cables without doing anything permanent or wall-damaging. Just be sure to follow the removal instructions if the non-damaging part of this product is important to you (it is to me--it's why I bought them).

Only One Complaint
These clips are a great product. I used them to suspend one hundred feet of cat 6 cable in an apartment because the internet hookup was in a terrible location. I bought four packs of these clips. They all held to the wall for one year while supporting the cable. The only complaint I had is that around 50% of the clips broke when i attempted to remove the cat 6. The arm that locks in the cable can certainly get stuck with time. I do not see this as a large issue so the product still gets 5 stars from me. I would suggest making the clips deeper so any cabling does not obstruct the locking arm. I plan to buy these again if the need arises nonetheless.

Great product
As a renter, I love the Command products. They are almost magical. These particular clips work well as long as you know what you're getting and use them properly. The openings are pretty small. These clips are not made for thick (grounded) electrical cords. If you have a 2-pronged electrical cord, ethernet, or most other electronics cords, these will work great. The first time I used these, I had some issues because I stuck them to the wall and tried to run the cord through them immediately and some of them popped off. Now, I always make sure to place the adhesive pad onto the clip about 15 minutes before I put them on the wall to give the glue time to set. When I place them on the wall, I make sure to push each one firmly onto the wall for 20 seconds or so and then wait at least 15 more minutes before I try putting the cord into them. Then, just be careful when clipping the cord in and you'll be fine. They are great for renters because they can be removed easily when moving out - just make sure to pull the tab right from the base and pull slowly and steadily.

They work, but I prefer the normal clips that you nail to the wall
Overall, these seem to work fairly well. My current landlord is quite picky about holes in the wall, so I needed to look for a solution other than the typical ethernet cable hooks which nail to the wall. And given that restriction, I think that these have worked reasonably well. Out of the few dozen I've put up, one didn't stick properly and came off (taking paint with it) when I went to hook the cable to it, but other than that, they've stuck well without damaging the wall. And since I needed to move the cable at one point, I've also taken a few off the wall, and I had no problems in doing so; no paint came off, and you can't tell that anything was stuck to the wall before. So, if you can't put holes in your wall, these seem to work well. However, given that you have to stick each hook to the wall and wait an hour before you can use it, it's _way_ more of a pain to use these hooks than the normal ones that use nails. Normally, you can hang the cable as you go and adjust as you go along, but with these hooks, you have to plan it all out and guess correctly how the cable will hang. Obviously, you can add some hooks later, and you can remove hooks to put them somewhere else if you need to adjust the cable, but overall, they're just way more of a pain. They _do_ avoid needing to put holes in the wall, but IMHO, that's their only advantage. So, if you can use the more standard hooks that you nail to the wall, I'd stick to the those over using these. But if you can't put holes in the wall for whatever reason, then these are the best alternative that I'm aware of.

Amazing way to put up LED Strip Lights!
I bought weather proof LED strip lights and used these clear command hooks for cord management to put them up and HOT DIGGITY DANG it came out perfect! I have the LED strip lights outlining the entire ceiling perimeter of my kitchen. They do come with a peel off backing so you can directly stick them, but I wanted to be able to rearranged the lights if needed. Plus I felt like they'd rip off my paint when I go to move them because they're intended to be used outdoors, in the rain and snow. So were a little more hardcore than I needed. The clear command hooks for cord management fit absolutely perfectly. And the light shines through them! I had bought command hooks specifically for string lights but they sucked so I returned them. The notches in them only fit fairy lights (the LEDs on wire), not traditional string Christmas lights, and absolutely not the LED strip lights. The clear command hooks for cord management are so perfectly suited to this type of job, I love them! My ONLY COMPLAINT is that they only come in 4 packs. I needed a ton. So I bought this 4 pack of 4 packs TWICE. Yes, I used every bit of 32 clips for my kitchen that is only 8ft x 12ft. I put them roughly every 18 inches. I wish these straight up came in a 32 pack. The "decorating clips" that only work with fairy lights come in a single pack of 40.

Made of brittle polystyrene and using very poor adhesive
As many other reviewers have noted, the adhesives included with these cord clips is awful - even when care is taken to follow the directions to the letter. Like many, I have used many varieties of command hooks for many years, using 90% isopropyl alcohol swabs to prepare the surface, pressing the wall adhesive in place for 30 seconds, and waiting an hour before using. Despite this, these cord clips came right off and I instead used the same size traditional command adhesive from other products. The clips themselves are the perfect size to hold cat5e/6/6a ethernet cables, but they are made of polystyrene and are very brittle. Given their small size, they are easily broken. For the price, receiving just 8 clips for $8.99, breaking one is an expensive prospect. I would not buy them again and don't recommend anyone else buy them.

Work well...clear plastic, which hides them well
I bought these to help me with my constant battle to manage the cables behind my desk & entertainment center. These work very well. As described, they are small. They won't handle the average computer power cord, or a quality HDMI cable. They do work awesome for ethernet or mouse/keyboard sized cables (assuming you're not wireless). These do open and close easily, so I am able to add/remove cables when I need. The clips are clear plastic & hard to see. They are not invisible & the tape on the bottom is white, so from the top-down, you'll see a white square of tape. These worked really well for me to put on the back of the legs of desks and such, so I could run cables hidden from view, yet relatively easy to manage.

Clips made with flimsy plastic materials, and poor adhesive.
I got a few sets of these to tame some rogue - humongously long - ethernet cables we have stretched through the house, as well as my bedside laptop cable as well as my phone and tablet charger cords. At the same time I purchased these two guys as well: Command Cord Bundlers, White, 6-PACK and ColorYourLife 20 PCS Reusable Fastening Velcro Cable Ties with Microfiber Cloth in Retail Packaging - 7" (Royal Blue + Aqua Blue) After unwrapping and installing them all, I have to say that I like these Medium Cord Clips the least, although the cord bundler and velcro ties can't really replace them with the bundlers being rather larger than needed for one measly ethernet cable and the velcro ties not being themselves made to attach the cords to a wall. The Med Cord Clips "work" - and better than the most helpful reviewer on here has cited - but I don't trust them to last and here is why: The material is questionable in terms of durability and the idea for how the clip works is also questionable, particularly when you consider the material. The "clips" are actually thin, curved arms of plastic that you push to catch on a tiny plastic latch. Keywords are "thin", "plastic" and "tiny". There are no hinges or engineered mechanisms with springs, parts, bits, etc. To clip the "clip" you push/bend the thin tiny teeny plastic arm up and over the thin tiny teeny plastic latch. Maybe there is more to this plastic than meets the eye, but it doesn't feel really rubbery. or special in any way. It just feels like firm, stiff plastic that could snap, so my feeling is that these "clips" will be easily damaged by opening and closing multiple times, getting brittle (as plastic does with time, heat, dry, etc.) accidentally pushing too hard on the tiny arm, or any other of a number of reasons. For example, if you have to put these on baseboards to run cables along the floor or because you can't get yours to stick to your walls - how do you not snap them when vacuuming? Although the adhesive on the stickers is vastly better than the top reviewer here makes it out to be (maybe there was an ingredient change?), these still don't have the power of the larger strips because they lack surface area and the smooshy foam thickness that grips at crevices in wall texture. The good? The "clips" are small and clear, so they blend into the background quite well and should remain pretty unobtrusive. The most visible thing you will have is obviously going to be the cabling itself, not the cord clip. The adhesive is much better than it was before, or not knowing what others have actually done when installing, if you follow the directions it seems they work well. I wiped down the installation sites with rubbing alcohol, let dry, held for 30 sec, etc. My strips - save one that was in an awkward to reach area - all stayed stuck despite tugging on the cords that run through them quite a bit so far. Please see my attached photos showing where our SUPER DUPER textured walls have the strips adhering just fine! (UPDATE 02/01/2016: Amazon has been really hit or miss with photos, and it's a 50/50 shot that your photos will post. I have tried reposting the photos, but another review where they inexplicably were a no-show didn't respond to a repost of the photos, so we shall have to see. Sorry for the inconvenience of it all, but there seems to be little reviewers can do about the photo situation from our side of the board. :-/ ) Bottom line? Time will have to tell on this. I have them stuck on a few kinds of surfaces - baseboards, walls and my desktop. If they break or the adhesive fails, I will come back and update the review. Likewise, if the performance surprises me, I will update the review and change the rating. Hope this review and the images are helpful. Please ask questions if you have any and best of luck! UPDATE 03/13/2016: My concerns were valid and these clips are flimsy. I've broken two - one by hand trying to unclip my laptop's powercable from my desktop, and the other got kicked where it sat on the baseboard. In both cases the little plastic arm popped off with a quick and easy snap. I've also had two hooks entirely pop off the walls at the slightest tugging on a cable. Removing two stars and recommending others try these Command Cord Bundlers, White, 6-PACK , which are flexible, hold more cords if needed and adhere with the staying power I've come to expect from Command products.

Pricey but worth it
I bought a pile of these to do cable management on my desk. Previously, I had made the mistake of buying no-name clips, and the adhesives were either too weak (fell off) or too strong (hard to remove and left a mess). The things I love about these clips: 1 - Clear 2 - Strong adhesive 3 - Removable 4 - The snaps to lock the wire loops work great The thing I don't love about these clips - they're on the pricey side.

Great stuff!
Does exactly what you would expect from Command! Great clips. I used them for the wire for the windscreen camera. Worked well and been up for months and still no issues. I can highly recommend!
