Review: Solid steel construction, works great. - Nice little tool. As others have mentioned, it's solidly made out of steel. I would add one caveat: the mechanism for tightening the drill chuck is a bit non-standard. Normally there's a large knurled outer piece that you twist and then a smaller, but still large diameter piece that you grip to hold the shaft still. The knurled part is standard, as you see in the photos, but that second piece is missing. Instead, the second piece is simply the hex shaft itself. My first thought was, "Well, that's different!" My second thought was, "Seems to work great, so fine by me." It does mean, though, that if you're not careful, you could probably unscrew that shaft right out of the chuck. I decided against that experiment since I'm not sure how easy that would be to put back together. Overall, great value for the money, very happy with it.

**Q: what is the width at the widest, the chuck piece? I am asking because I need one that will fit a one inch pipe that I need to clean out.**
A: The widest diameter of the mini chuck is .483”. Just short of 1/2”.

**Q: How do you get the drill bit of the chuck?  the chuck worked fine when i drilled but now i cannot get the drill bit out.**
A: Yeah my broke as well while connected to the drill

**Q: Is the hex shank removable?**
A: Yes it unscrews completely out. I would show you photos but I can’t attach them.

**Q: What is the biggest drill bit you can use?**
A: I haven’t got mine in reach, but I believe it 1/8 inch

Fine for for the price. I've found I have to re-tighten the chuck once or twice during each use, especially with smaller bits.
