Will this work on embroidery machines?

If the machine has a PCMCIA slot, then yes it will work. Not sure what type of files you'll load onto the card, but I am sure 512MB will be quite compatible. I would say anything up to 2GB would be compatible with more machines and operating systems. Once you start getting into 4GB+ and HC (high capacity) cards, then things begin to get a little finicky.

I have a much older janome memory craft 5700. will this work? and does it have tiny pin holes or elongated slots?

If the Janome has a PSMCIA slot it will. This uses a connection with long pins, the slots on the side are used only for centering and correct orientation when setting the adapter into the port.

Is this adapter fits on sony vaio model vpcz114gx/s z series ?

If you have PCMCIA Ata Adapter Slot, it will work.

fa il suo dovere senza introdurre alcun problema di contatto tra la CF e il resto del mondo :-) insomma...è quello che ci vuole...non costa poco, ma se ne trovano sempre meno in giro. almeno questa funziona perfettamente! Io la uso perché, incredibilmente, la radio di serie della mia Honda CR-V, accoglie appunto una PCMCIA come questa, nella quale ho alloggiato una CF da 64G e non ho mai avuto problemi a sfogliare e ad ascoltare tutti i brani musicali che contiene.
