BCB Adventure Fire Dragon Gel Fuel

No toxic fumes like hexamine tablets . Seems better to carry than liquid methyl alcohol. It burns off too fast in a wide pan like in BCB Crusader canteen cup stove. Burned slower, more efficiently in narrower FireDragon Multi-Fuel Cooker folding stove. I like the fuel. My favorite. The 7 oz. bottle is pretty small. It's too expensive. Can burn up $2 fuel for a cup of coffee. So, won't be buying anymore.

Worked great in the BCB Crusader. For the first use, I filled the crucible close to the top, filled the cup to .5 ml of water. Used a ferro rod to strike. Brought to boil in about five minutes. Placed a second order to get another bottle to have on hand. Burned pretty clean. I highly recommend this product.

Works great especially for charcoal starter.

Looks ok. But cap was loose. Leaked 1 or 2 oz. They packed the bottle in a plastic bag, which contained the leak. I think this must happen enough for the forethought of the bag. All in all ok for what it is

This works great as a fire starter, but burn time per volume is poor for canteen cup cooking (crusader cup).

This gel fuel is safer than liquid fuel, especially when used for fondue on a dinning table. Easy use, no smell, perfect.

Arrived in a plastic bag w/cap secure..Used in 4 different stoves with good results..The smaller bottle takes up less room in my ruck. Works just as good as the gel cubes

First off the description says it is 250ml, the actual item is only 200ml. So you are starting off 20 percent down on a ridiculously priced item already. I used a 2oz burn cup for the test boils, so that equates to 3.5 boils in this bottle. For 13 bucks. It burns clean, no complaints about that component. No residue on the cup like Hex leaves (no surprise there). It does throw an incredibly strong odor when burning, even worse than Hexamine does. That was surprising. It burns clean and fast, leaves no residue, but the cost is intolerable for what you get. And at the time of lurchase/date of this review the description still states this is 250ml, not that actual 200 in the package.

Bonjour, Ce produit est très pratique, plus économe en terme de quantité et de prix que des combustibles lesbit/Firedragon., Ne prend pas de places, c'est inodore. Ce gel dure longtemps et fait des grandes flammes donc attention à vous ^^. Parfait pour les bivouac / randonnée / camping ... Je vous le recommande. PS : le bouchon est rouge ^^ (origine UK)

Magnífico combustible en gel de una prestigiosa marca. Lo utilizo con la BCB Crusader mk2 y es muy práctico. Limpio y muy portable por tamaño/peso. Un acierto que sustituye y/o complementa a las pastillas. Recomendado.

So when it arrived and I saw just how small the bottle was I felt slightly ripped off given the price. HOWEVER, when I first used it I quickly realised you only need a tiny amount smeared on some kindling and it will just absolutely go up. It burns super well and gets a fire going instantly. Perfect for the job.
