Review: Solid backpack - This is a great backpack if you like a tactical-style design. I’ve owned a few different tactical backpacks, but this time I wanted something smaller. I went from a 40L down to this 25L, and it’s been the perfect size for everyday use. I like the tactical look, but the 40L was a bit much for places like work or the gym—this one strikes a great balance. The backpack is made of a thick canvas material, but it’s still lightweight and easy to carry. Overall, it feels like a quality bag for the price. I also like that the tactical style isn’t overdone—you get a bit of MOLLE webbing and one Velcro patch area without it being excessive. With the smaller 25L size, you do get fewer zippers and compartments compared to larger packs, but there’s still plenty of room for organization. The main compartment includes a sleeve that can be used for a water bladder or a laptop. There’s also a small top pocket and a front pocket with additional internal organization. It includes both chest and waist straps, and the shoulder straps are nicely padded and comfortable. It works well for daily use, walking, hiking, or even light running. Overall, a solid purchase—I’d definitely buy this one again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this item suitable for rucking? (i.e. Walking distances with weights inside?)**
A: It’s pretty heavy duty…depends on how much weight you intend to carry whether the straps will still be comfortable

**Q: On the photo section it shows it 18" tall but in the description it shows 14", which is correct?**
A: My bag is about 18 n a half. I got this same thing

**Q: How long is the padded part of the shoulder straps?**
A: It is padded the entire length of the strap, and for mine that is approximately 12 inches.

**Q: Are these made in the USA?**
A: Frankly I don't recall where the Mardington packs are made, but I can certainly vouch for their high quality. They are extremely well made and well designed packs, and I've used them now for several years. As far as whether they're made in the USA, most packs are now constructed overseas, including the very top brands. (Over the years I've used North Face, Osprey, Kelty, etc.) What matters is not where they're made but what is the quality.
I've bought five Mardington packs for my wife and I, the 75 litre. the 55 litre, the 28 litre, and these day packs (2). They are all of excellent quality and design, and built very intelligently and rugged.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great diaper bag

Great quality backpack. Currently using it as a diaper bag. Fits all the necessities. A portable diaper changing mat, extra outfit, baby bottles, burp clothes, pacifiers and more space for anything else that might come up. Very spacious and so comfortable. Great quality all around and affordable. The issues I currently had with my previous diaper back was it was not comfortable, had thin straps with no padding and not spacious. I knew an actual backpack would be better and knew how great the molle system would be if I need to clip any extra bags. Eventually I'll convert this to a normal backpack once the kid is older. Looking forward to keeping this back for a long time.
