I just orderd 2 Qts of the MerconSP ATF and do the unhookedl ines leak much ?** A: Hi Roger, I have done many times the unhook for the transmission cooler on this radiator, you shouldn't worry about it!!! it will only lose less than a quarter of ATF so I don't think you should put ATF back in. Quick tip: put a plastic bag on each end that you unplug with a rubber band and it will leak very few ATF, also keep the ends facing up. **Q: Does this radiator come with the cap? Anything else I need purchase before this radiator can be installed into my 07 explorer? Thank you.** A: The radiator does not come with a cap, and I recommend you replace it if it is the original. Also, check the hoses that connect to the radiator, they are inexpensive and easy to replace with the radiator out of the car **Q: Do the "spectra premium fittings" 0n cu2816 radiator have the double "o" rings in the fitting like the dorman 800-621 fittings?** A: They do not. I purchased the doorman fittings to upgrade them and they did not fit the radiator. I was sent a replacement right away it was not the greatest quality but usable. The quick connect fitting are poor quality so if you buy this radiator order new fittings from the start. Was able to remove old one and put this one into place without removing the fan clutch/blade, but did require some creative maneuvering with a helper.
