Your cheap-@$$ aunt is here and has all you need to know about KISS ImPress false nails.
Comparison with super glue type false nails — Pros & cons These are my working nails. I say that because the adhesive is more rubbery than regular nail glue. It has give and can handle impact and pressure better. Still, keep in mind these are TEMPORARY nails and can't handle the same stressors as real nails. The downsides: just like with glue nails, if you don't properly prep the nails these will drop off so fast. These are also a bit more lifted than glue nails — that pad of material that gives better also makes them look fake. I don't care about this because I'm not in a field where people are looking at my hands. They also won't stay on as long as properly cared-for glue nails, but I get a good 7–10 days out of them. If one drops prematurely, I keep a few extras on the go, or simply paint the nude nail with quick dry polish (I only wear black so no color matching for me) to go incognito until everyone starts lifting and it's time to properly remove. Process for longest adhesion Note: I'm not wearing these all the time, so I'm not prioritizing nail health but adhesion longevity — don't @ me. Do this at night, right before bed. Like fr, the last thing you do. ImPRESS adheres longer if you put them on and do nothing at all with your hands for hours. 1. Sort your nails first Sort all your false nails in the order you're putting them on. I work pinky to thumb, pinky to thumb. Gently file down the little nub on the top center edge of each nail from where it was attached to the sprue. It's easy to wonk the nail so do it carefully. 2. Cuticles Fix your cuticles however you want. I just use the false nail to gently push the cuticle down a smidge, then reposition and adhere. Important: don't butt these up against your cuticles like glue nails. They will shift over time and dig into your skin and once it's on, it's on. 3. Wash prep Using a cotton swab, wash and rinse each real nail thoroughly with dish soap — not the moisturizing kind, the kind that cuts grease. Pat completely dry with a paper towel and hold onto it. 4. Don't file: score once Using a medium-rough emery board, score each nail side to side in a couple of short passes. Don't repeat a pass, but cover the entire nail. Wipe all nails free of dust with your damp (not wet) paper towel from before. No wetness going into the next step. 5. Dry, dry, dryer 🌵 Wipe the hand you're starting with using the included prep pad — or acetone if you have the good kind. If there's any wetness, let it fully evaporate. 6. Position — are you sure? — apply Longer nails = more stick. Best done with your hand flat on a surface. Peel off the annoyingly staticky sticker and position the nail a couple hairs above the cuticle (unlike a glue nail — see step 2 for why). Press firmly all over the nail several times, focusing on every edge. You can use the little stick to push your real nail tighter against the adhesive from underneath if your nails are long enough. Repeat for all nails. 7. Go to bed Press gently on your nails a few more times, as body heat warms the adhesive. Think of it like counting sheep. Until morning: no washing your hands, no lotion, no guitar. Nothing wet, greasy, or tugging at the nails. After that, these survive normal bumps, light pressure, and hand washing/showers — but those will wear at the adhesive over time, so no soaking. Ongoing maintenance Don't be the B with an ecosystem living under their nails. Wash gently underneath with cotton swabs (pointier ones are available online) and antibacterial soap regularly. If there's heavy lift, remove the nail and wash underneath before reapplying. Oil helps remove a false nail that's not lifting. Acetone clears lingering glue residue. Let your nails rest at least a week. Or not — just skip the scoring step on previously processed nails, or you'll be filing away at the same nail repeatedly. Your nail layers will peel anyway, so don't take it down to the quick, trust me.

Forget an actual manicure - these are the real deal!
I bought these with low expectations, just needing to see if they would last a few days so I could avoid getting a manicure before an upcoming wedding. Today marked three weeks and I could have easily worn them longer. Only one nail was looking worn. The adhesive doesn't rip apart your nails with removal like other nail kits that involve glue. My natural nails are looking healthy and have great length. These nails are sturdy, durable, and beautiful looking! Easy application and no glue. One week in I bought a second set for the big day. I've received endless compliments and people asking for recommendations to where I got my nails done. I'm an active mom of three, wife, and someone who is never still. If it works for me, it'll work for anyone. Update: After using this brand for multiple occasions, I am still a huge fan. But one thing to note is that the nails don't work as well if you wear them back to back. The hold isn't as strong and I ended up losing nails sooner when I switched one set for another immediately after.

Decent for the price
Pros: easy to use and put on, good quality sheen of the color, length is nice/natural, and they do stay on for light everyday wear Cons: when pressing down hard on surfaces I noticed the nails pushing into my cuticle and sliding, I have skinny nails and a lot of the nails were not wide enough to cover my whole nail side to side, and the shape of the nail bed/cuticle side was not as natural as I'd hope. They're more square when they should be rounded. Also, my hair got caught all the time under the nails even when they were freshly done. The nail doesn't press down far enough to be completely flat on top of your nail. All in all for the price I'd say they're not bad and would definitely buy them again for an event or quick wear where my nails needed to be done and look nice.

Stick up at cuticle, catch on hair terribly and look bad
These are terrible. They don’t lie flat at the cuticle - there’s a raised lip from the glue and it looks bad and catches on everything. And it was not from a lack of effort. I applied a TON of pressure for 45 seconds when applying these and they still stick up. These are sliding around on my nails and feel like they’re going to come off any minute, though if I try to pull on one it sticks firmly. It’s very bizarre. I hate them. Had bought them in two colors and returned the other because after less than 24 hrs of wearing these I was just annoyed.

Great nails! 5⭐️
Been using these for years! I was a nail tech in the early 90’s( way before drills were invented LOL) and I now have severe arthritis. Nails are super easy to apply! I buy short nails that have the adhesive on them, and they’ll last a month if you prep your nail bed as directed, and then I add a drop of gel superglue after taking the tab off first, and press down hard for 20-30 seconds. PS- before you press down, make sure the nail is on straight! It WILL NOT COME OFF!! No damage to natural nails unless you rip or tear them off. (Soak in acetone nail polish)

Durable!
I've liked these nails for awhile - today I went swimming and they're still on my fingers and look great. Definitely recommend.

I LOVE impress nails!
I've been wearing these for a while now and they are NOT like the press on nails of the olden days. These really stay on - I've worn them for up to three weeks. They're so quick to apply, maybe ten minutes max, look beautiful, and come in so many great colors and designs. If you're a commitment-phobe like me and don't want to have gel nails on for months on end, try these. You can have a beautiful mani in minutes, but they're so easy to remove and change to a new set - perfection!
