Kyle Craig Publishing My First Knitting Book: Learn To Knit: Kids

I bought this as a Christmas Gift for a 7-year old child as part of aa knitting set I put together. They loved the set and this book had some good ideas for items a child could make. I am enjoying teaching them alongside the directions in the book - a very successful gift.

This is an excellent refresher book for adults with cool, easy patterns to make for grand kids. I am also teaching some of the many girls and boys(!) to knit or rather I am relearning. It's fun too as the kids can come up with neat ideas with a slight pattern change or addition thus making more worth the cost I spent for the book.

I bought two pairs of knitting needles for children, some bright colored yarn, and away they went. Once we got the yarn cast on the needles my two granddaughters ages 7 and 9 picked up the art of knitting really quickly. It was nice to see them knit for a while, put it down to do something else, then pick it up and start knitting again all on their own! We need to practice casting on so they can be more independent with their knitting. All in good time! This book was really helpful teaching me how to teach them! Worth the money!
