I had my teeth professionally whitened at the dentist office, ( different brand). So I can only speak to using this for maintenance. Even though you get a maintenance kit from the dentist, I wanted something cheaper that I could use throughout the year. The whitening results from this are not as good professional maintenance tube ( you won't go down any more shades). Yet, a once a week "touch up" with this has kept my professional results. The tubes have only a small amount of product. I can get about 3 uses out of each tube into my whitening mold. I usually paint a little on each tooth and then brush the mold with it ( this pen has a brush - it's not a syringe style like the Philips so you have to brush it inside the mold). I leave it on for about 30 minutes and it has kept my results through my coffee consumption.

I’ve been using this whitening with the LED light for years. I highly recommend it! I have extremely sensitive teeth and it doesn’t hurt
