I did mine without removing axle and put the bolt in threw the bottom tighten it down and seen the bolt go into the axle. the front bolt was tight and did not hit I left the rear bolt loose so it would not hit (not really recommended ) .. **Q: I been seeing that it needs strut spacers also in order to install these. Are they needed? Or can it be installed with just the spacers and longer bol** A: I just installed them and the hardware is awesome. After installing make sure you get it alignment done.
