Sylvania LED Light Bulb, A19, 100W Equivalent, Efficient 16W, 13 Year, Medium Base, Dimmable, Frosted, 2700K, Soft White - 4 Pack (40737)

I've had many LED lights I've purchased in the past that either were DOA, died quickly or had flicker beyond annoying. These are very bright and work perfectly!Note: Use a wodern dimmer designed for LED use as the old incandescent ones work but they produce flicker beyond belief.

I ordered a 4 pack of these bulbs which were shipped and sold by Amazon. They were exactly as advertised and worked great. I went to order another package and Amazon must have been out of stock but they were available at a lower price from Crazy Beauty. The description was exactly the same. What I received was NOT the same. The bulbs sent by Crazy Beauty were A21 bulbs not A19 bulbs, these things are HUGE and Heavy. They are not even a 4 pack, I received 4 individually packaged bulbs. I was going to return them but returning anything is a hassle and I realized that I could use them in my outside fixtures and larger lamps. They will not fit in the smaller lamps, they are larger than the harp.Note: I ordered the 1600 Lumen (100 watt equivalent) 2700K bulbs. These are hard to find at a reasonable price but my wife hates the 3000K bulbs, she says they look blue.

Received these Sylvania 16 Watt, 2700K (warm white) screw in bulbs, and I was pleasantly surprised that they have a smaller diameter than other 16 Watt bulbs. They measure 60mm/2.35" in diameter while the other (non Sylvania) 16 Watt bulbs I've bought in the past measure 70mm/2.75" diameter. The difference in diameter allows me to get a glass globe over a new bulb in a hallway fixture. They definitely appear to be 2700 K color temp, and I can only assume the brightness reaches their rated 1600 lumens. They seem bright.

Bought these 4 years ago for the vanity light in my master bathroom and no problems with them. Just renovated our other bathroom and used these in the new vanity light. This lighting is soft but very bright. It’s hard to find bulbs that aren’t too ‘warm’ or too harsh daylight white. These are a nice blend of both and great over a vanity for putting on makeup.

The estimates of useful life are clearly not accurate, and over time the amount of light produced decreases, so less light after some use. In addition, these bulbs did not all work well on circuits with dimable switches. We found that the bulbs on dimable switches would flicker or go off totally.

I wanted a little more light but the bulb had to fit in a glass chimney. I am delighted that this one did and I get more light than I had before. It dims with no flickering.

Very happy about these bulbs. Bright and energy-saving. Great price. Was delivered safely - always a plus (it can go both ways with bulbs shipped by Amazon).

Two bulbs out of this pack flicker. It’s not subtle either. Brand new, name brand bulbs that were not cheap and they flicker. It’s maddening. I’m going to ignore it until I can’t take it anymore and then replace them with another brand.

Kept the old kitchen light going with less power. Better than trusting those Chinese non- CSA LED lights. I'd trust Sylvania brand name over them anytime. I'm a 28 yr veteran JM Electrician if that means anything these days.

Absolute garbage.....do not buy. I bought these bulbs to add more light to our family room lamps. We are currently using 9w led Noma bulbs but found it too dim. I installed these 16w (100 watt equivalent) bulbs and it didn't seem as bright as the 9w ones. Grabbed a light meter from my camera and it confirmed they are slightly darker (9w - 204, 16w - 182) Incredibly disappointing. Instead of being 75% brighter, they are 10% dimmer.
