Did not work, sent back.
Just like the other reviews it did not work. I connected it up on the work bench to a 12v power supply & a multimeter before installing it into a vehicle. The internal relay was not operating therefore the contacts were permanently on. After removing the "Quality Control PASS" label there is a cover to the switching relay where the relay coil wires were found disconnected and not soldered to the pins. The unit may work for some customers but i think it will fail soon due to the poor components.

Works great. What more can you ask for?
Works great! At first I thought it didn't work because if you checked the relay wires and continuity mode in your voltmeter it'll always show that it's closed. It's basically getting it back feed. If you hook up 12 volts to one side of the relay wire and then test it, it works perfectly fine. It does break the circuit as it should. You just can't test it with the ohmmeter. I think that's the problem people are having say it doesn't work. You also have to program the remotes to the receiver for it to work. Can't be there for the price.

Purchased twice and both times it works as desired.
Bought this for my sons 2018 Kia Rio. They did the job until......someone tried to driver their car OVER my sons car and they stopped working. Luckily he was OK but the awesome little EASYGUARD Immobilizer was not so lucky. Before they got squashed, we tested them and they worked as advertised. I have since purchased these again. I am using them in my Can Am Maverick SxS and I am very happy with how they work. Yes a bit of electronics knowledge definitely helps.
