Clean with a conscience!
I'm trying to wean myself off the supermarket-bought sponges completely, and these provide a great alternative. They're much more environmentally friendly, and I know I'm not putting microplastics into the water system. This is a small British company trying to make a difference, and the sponges are great. Although the loofah side is not quite as flexible as the plastic ones, you soon get used to that. When I feel the sponge needs a clean, I put it in the washing machine with a hot wash, although I have seen people suggest they can go in the dishwasher; they last longer than the plastic ones. I haven't tried composting them yet, but I will put the current one in my compost bin to see what happens.

A product that changes life-long habits
I must leave a review because this is a super product. Bought them end of February is now late April and I am still on the first one still going strong, so I am believe they will be cost effective. They feel good in the hand, don’t smell and do the job well. Initially they feel a bit stiff compared to the standard sponges but I did not really mind and over time they do soften. If we protect our waters as well, and what goes in our bodies it’s a definitely win win.

Great with some caveats
These are as good as the traditional plastic green/yellow scourers that we’re all used to - with a couple of caveats: Pros: Clean just as good as plastic scourers Last longer Refresh well in dishwasher No plastic bits coming off in your sink Cons: Price - obviously a lot more expensive, yes they last longer but still pricy. The looser side is prone to splitting especially if you catch on a sharp object like a knife - annoying if it happens early on in the life cycle. Overall I think I will stick with these.

Quality product
There not cheap when you think about buying a sponge. But the quality is excellent and it's works really well and no plastic. I was removing some paint from my hands using a plastic sponge and was horrified to see the amount of plastic in the basin. That's why I decided to give these a go.

Good green creds but not there yet on quality
I really wanted to love these eco friendly sponge scouters as I want to avoid microplastics as much as possible. Unfortunately they’re not robust enough. We’ve been using it for less than a week and it has already started to come apart - the description says they should last up to four weeks and can go in a dishwasher, that’s not been my experience so far and we’ve been far more ‘careful’ with this sponge than usual. Whilst they look great and are eco friendly they do not effectively remove tough stains. I had to switch to a brush for those. It’s a real shame as I want to support seep but I’m not happy with the quality for the cost. Hopefully they’ll improve them based on feedback.

They are very very good
I was slightly apprehensive to spend so much on sponges after reading reviews some saying they split. I've used one for two weeks and have no sign of deterioration whatsoever. I have a dishwasher so mainly use these for pots and pans. I always soak my pots well before washing and these clean them well. They are a bit stiffer but it doesn’t bother me. I've washed some cups etc also and they work well. They might not be suitable for your finest wineglasses but maybe for those, just use a sponge. For really tough burnt food I just got coconut scourer which works wonders. So in a nutshell. These a good. They have enough scraping power for pots, just have a coconut scourer for really tough stains and a cloth or sponge only for fine glasses. Some people complained about food getting caught in them. Any bits are easily rinsed off if you turn the sponge rough side down and rinse under running water. No problem. They look nice. My boyfriend immediately said he loves the look of it and so I gave him one to take home. The obvious reason for buying is they contain no plastic. These type of products are ridiculously expensive though and that's why they'll never become mainstream until something drastic happens with the prices. I hope that drastic happens. I will update this review if I find they don't live up to expectation. If there's no update, it means I'm happy with them. UPDATE: The sponges are still fine, but I actually bough some plain loofah and cut it up in flat rectangles. It makes a fantastic sponge for much cheaper. I actually prefer plain loofah to the sponge fused ones as it's soft and moulds to the hand like ordinary sponge. Natural loofah cut up also has a soft side and rough side. And can be washed in dishwasher. They'll last forever. I'm a natural plain loofah convert. Sorry Seep.

Good-quality sponges that last a while
These sponges seem to last for 6-8 weeks before the softer side starts breaking down. (Photo is of a sponge after 7 weeks' use.) The loofah side is strong enough for most baked-on food marks (but it's worth keeping some steel wool handy for really tough bits). I can't say I've ever put them in the washing machine but they don't seem to need it (no smell, not slimy etc, just some discolouration), so long as you wring it out and let it dry between uses. However, it's worth checking your council's food waste recycling rules before chucking it in with your veg scraps – they shouldn't be added if it's going to an anaerobic recycling unit.

Good for the environment
Very good item but a seam came away on one side. Lasts very well and am still on the first one.

I always keep getting back to them. They are the closest to the conventional, plastic ones. I love that they are compostable and have a cute design. Steep price but worth it.

These are actually very good! They are well made and longer lasting compared to some of the cheaper plastic ones. I would definitely recommend these and will be buying them again for sure.
