What a difference a cable makes. Years ago when I worked at Network Products, we had an informal paradigm that all network problems were wire problems. My hard-drive issues in my PC also turned out to be due to bad SATA cables, if you can believe it. Such a simple, unremarkable component. How do they even go bad? Regardless, these are great. I bought them for their length, and importantly, their included snap attachment connectors on BOTH ends of the cable to make sure they're securely attached to PC & HDD SATA interfaces. I am SUPER GLAD I did that. That was a smart move. Buy these, instead of the ones with the secure connector at only one end. I'm happy, I think you will be too.

New Review: These Cables are PERFECT!!! No Loss in speed at all after running some benchmark test!!! They clearly preform just fine!!! I tried my cables I already had for my ASUS system on a new hard drive and they move data so much faster than these cable's do. It's alright, I'll just use it on my DVD drive. But I researched the difference between SATA 6 cable's and SATA III cable's and they say there isn't any. I'll just say, with my new 3 terabyte Western Digital Black, if I put these cable's on it I have about a minute and a half boot up time, but with my original ASUS cable I am fully booted into Windows 10 in about 30 seconds. Same drive, different cable's, I really don't understand why this is that way?
