## Overview

The Texas Instruments USB Connectivity Kit (TEXGLINKFBL1L1C) is a reliable, plug-and-play USB cable designed to connect a broad range of TI graphing calculators (TI-73 Explorer to Voyage 200) to Windows and Mac computers. It requires TI Connect software for seamless driver installation and data transfer, avoiding conflicts with older TI Graph Link software. Available in black, gray, and silver, this 5V-powered cable ensures fast, stable connectivity for students and educators looking to streamline calculator management.

## Description

The TI Connectivity USB Graph Link Cable for Windows and TI Connect software are compatible with the TI-73 Explorer, TI-83, TI-83 Plus, TI-83 Plus Silver Edition, TI-84 Plus, TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, TI-86, TI-89, TI-89 Titanium, TI-92, TI-92 Plus, and Voyage 200. The TI Connectivity Cable USB for Windows/Mac and TI Connect software will not work with the TI-82 or TI-85. Please use a TI Connectivity Cable Serial (black or gray) and TI-GRAPH LINK software for computer connectivity with the TI-82 and TI-85. The TI Connectivity Cable USB for Windows/Mac does not work with any versions of TI-GRAPH LINK software, so please use TI Connect software.

Review: Works great with TI Connect, but don't use TI Graph Link - I'm very happy with the product now that I figured out how to make it work. FYI, it's the silver cable. This cable is actually a PCMCIA device with hardware of its own, and it requires a driver of its own. That driver is provided in TI Connect, which can be downloaded from the TI education website. Download and install TI Connect before attaching the cable so Windows will assign the correct driver to it. That website is also where you get all the applications (apps) you want for your TI graphing calculator. DO NOT try to use this cable (the silver cable) with TI Graph Link software if you have a TI-83, TI-83 Plus, or newer. I tried the cable with TI Graph Link on my TI-83 Plus, and it wouldn't work at all. I installed TI Connect and it still wouldn't work until I uninstalled TI Graph Link in programs and in Windows device manager. Graph Link creates an IRQ conflict with the PCMCIA device in this cable, and won't work until the IRQ conflict is resolved. That's a Windows thing, but something you should be aware of if you tried Graph Link and now TI Connect won't work. Go to System > Device Manager, open it and scroll down to the USB connections. Delete (uninstall) the TI Graph Link USB device under USB connections. If you installed TI Connect, it installed the cable under PCMCIA devices. That's the correct connection, even though you use a USB connector to attach it to the computer. I wish someone had posted this information somewhere. It took me about 16 hours to figure out what I'd done wrong and how to fix it. Luckily, I'm old enough to remember how Windows devices actually connect and how they work or I would have been clueless.
Review: Works Well - This works perfectly with TiLP. Used it for both a TI-85 and TI-86. In 2023.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does exactly what it was designed to do...
*by N***S on December 5, 2016*

Not sure what I expected - kind of underwhelmed by what this makes possible. Great quality and it worked as advertised. There just is not much one can do with it.
