Granddaughter loves it

I loved the "Clifford the Big Red Dog" books, and I was thrilled to see that PBS Kids made it into an animated series. It features the voices of the late John Ritter (Three's Company, Problem Child 1-3, 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter), Kel Thompson (All That, Keenan & Kel, Good Burger), & Cree Summer (Codename: Kids Next Door, Rugrats, Atlantis: The Lost Empire). This series has made me smile, and I was very sad that they had to stop the series after John Ritter died in 2004. Now they made the series "Clifford's Puppy Days" but it's just not the same series as "Clifford". But either way, you and your children will love this lovable dog. This video has four epidsodes with BIG, important lessons we can all live by. "Boo": It's Halloween night on Birdwell Island, and Emily Elizabeth, Clifford, and everybody else is getting ready for this "spooktacular" night. Everybody watches the spooky movie, which has them all on the edge of their seats, except Jetta & Mac (who says their not scared of anything). During the festival, a big, white, scary ghost comes running into town. Oh, no! Who could it be? "Clifford's Carnival": It's the Fall Carnival at Emily Elizabeth's school, and everyone is helping getting ready for this fun-filled event. Well, everyone except Jetta. All she's doing is giving orders to others. During the carnival, Jetta is supposed to wait for the tractor to come to give the people a hayride. But instead, she goes off to the Ferris Wheel- 15 times!- and the tractor ends up not showing up. How will there be a hayride without the tractor? "Leaf of Absence": One autumn day, Clifford, Cleo, & T-bone are playing in a pile of leaves in the woods, when T-bone has to leave to meet up with his owner, Sheriff Lewis, and makes Clifford & Cleo promise to keep all of his leaves together until he comes back. But suddenly, a big wind sweeps all of the leaves away, all over Birdwell Island! Uh-oh! Can Clifford & Cleo keep T-bone's promise and get all of his leaves back? "Come Back, Mac": One day, as Clifford & Emily are taking a walk, they notice Jetta looking around for something. She seems to have misplaced her favorite sweater. When Emily offers that she and Clifford could help, Jetta calls for Mac. But strangely enough, he's gone too! Can Clifford & his friends find Mac & Jetta's favorite sweater? This stories are funny, sweet, and so entertaining for both kids and adults. Even if you're not a fan of children's series, you'll definitely love John Ritter as the lovable big, red dog. My 3 year old has suddenly taken a liking to Clifford, and I'm really impressed with the PBS series. We checked this video out from the library and I'm going to purchase it now that I know what an excellent collection it is. My son especially likes this one because all of the stories center on the dog characters (Clifford, T-Bone, Cleo, Mac) and deal less with the sometimes annoying human characters. I like the fact that the four episodes deal with important issues for children: the pitfalls of bragging, the joys of sharing, why you shouldn't take advantage of friends, and why not to take friends for granted. The "lessons" are delivered in a completely unobtrusive way. Another plus: there are no "scary" elements, so my son never asks to skip episodes like he does with some of the other collections. This video is a good bet for new and seasoned Clifford fans. Keep in mind that all of the episodes are taken directly from the PBS series. There is no new material here.

My 4 year old son loves Clifford. He wasn't too fond of birthdays and birthday parties, but this show helped to change that. We all enjoy the Clifford series, and recommend it for pre-k boys and girls.

ちょうどHalloweenの時期という事もありこのビデオを購入しました。 4話入っていてどれもClffordとお友達たちの愛情あふれるお話しです。 英語が分からなくっても子供達は画面から伝わってくる表情やしぐさで 大筋解釈しているようです。 うちは6歳の女の子と5歳の男の子がいますがどちらもClffordが大好きです。 どのキャラクターもとっても魅力的でわんちゃんが好きなお子ちゃまなら きっとClffordにはまるはず！？

小さな観光の島バードウエル島に住む、ものすごく大きくて赤い犬のクリフォードが中心のお話です。 クリフォードは何作か持っていますが、ほかの物と比べるとこの作品はワハハと笑うところは少ないようです。ですが、４作ともとても良いお話で、もちろんユーモアもあります。買ってからもうだいぶなりますが、息子は今でもときどき見たがります。 1話完結の話が4話入っています。どの物語にも教訓がちりばめられていて、子供に安心して見せられる内容です。 ちなみに犬達は犬語を喋っているらしく人間には「ワンワン」としか言いませんが、犬同士ではちゃんと英語で話しますよ。

バースデーパーティーのお話が４話です。どれも可愛いお話ばかりですが、実写や着ぐるみ等ではないので小さいお子様には多少退屈かもしれません。少しでも英語を習っている子なら楽しめるかも・・・また内容的には女の子向けです。また絵本と関連しないのが残念です。
